Hi there!

Thank you for your inquiry. Regarding about your concern, you may try to change the text style and the text color and check if this will change the cursor on the SGH-T139 handset.

1. From the main display of the phone, press on Menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Choose Display Settings.
4. Select Info Display.
On Set Text Style you can choose Outline, Shadow, or Normal while on Set Text Color you can select from White, Yellow, Blue, Green, Red, or Black.
5. Press the Left or Right Navigation keys to change the settings.
6. Press the Save soft key to apply your changes, or the Cancel soft key to cancel.

Should these steps will not change the highlight color, then there is no configurable option to change that settings on SGH-T139 handset.

Thank you for your inquiry. You would need to request the NCK (Network Control Key) from the service provider of the phone and once you have the NCK, please call us back and provide the NCK so we can walk you through on how to unlock your phone and use it for another service provider.

Please note that unlocking of the phone and using it to a different Service Provider, although at the discretion of the service provider is possible, will void all Samsung warranties for support or service. Features that are available on the intended network may not be accessible on the alternate network. Features on the alternate network may not be available this phone as these features are not those of the network on which the phone was intended to be used, and therefore, are not programmed.

How Do You Open A Picture Message For A Samsung SGH-t139

I have a samsung sgh-t139 and when I get picture messages it will say view.When i click ok it will say cancel retrying.When i click it again it would say retrieving but i would never see the message because it won't let me.Can someone help me Please!!!!

Hi there,

You may try these steps and check if theres an old phone ring tone for your handset.

Press Menu > Settings (9) > Sound Settings (1) > Incoming Call (1)
Highlight the Ringtone option and press OK
Highlight a desired ringtone from the list and press Select > Save

If theres not, I suggest that you may contact your service provider for possible having the old ring tone.

How Do I Delete All Pictures or Videos From My SGH-T139 Phone?

1. Press Menu > Fun & Apps (6) > Files (1) > Images (2) > Photos (2) > Options > Delete (4) > Multiple (2)
2. Highlight the All option and press OK to populate all check boxes
3. Press Delete twice and then press Yes

Hi there!

The SGH-T139 handset can sync with a car kit. The phone has a Bluetooth Profile which is the Hands-Free Profile, which allows a connection from the phone to a wireless Bluetooth-enabled car kit. Incoming calls ring to the hands-free headset or device. Calls can be received by pressing a button on the Bluetooth headset or device. As for dialing, four functions are supported: recent call dial, voice dial, speed dial, and number dial. You can increase or decrease the volume by using the volume key on the side of the phone.

Regarding about your concern, if you could not sync the phone to your car, we recommend you to contact the car manufacturer about the compatibility and specification about the car kit.

With regard to your inquiry, there are no configurable options to transfer your pictures from your phone (SGH-T139 ) to a computer using a cable. However you still have an option to send it via email.

Transferring pictures between the SGH-T139 and a PC requires three things: the ability to send and receive picture messages on the device, a PC with an Internet connection, and an e-mail account.

Note: Please check with your Service Provider and about service charges associated with picture messages. Also, please check with your Internet and/or e-mail provider about applicable service charges. Samsung is not responsible for any charges incurred.

From Phone To PC

1. Press Menu > Messages (5) > Create Messages (1) > Picture Message (2)
2. Highlight the Image option and press Add > Photos (2)
3. Highlight the desired image thumbnail and press Add > Send To > New Recipient (3) > Email Address (2)
4. Enter the e-mail address and press Send.

The Navigation key (left,right, up, down) scrolls through the phone’s menu options and acts as a shortcut key from standby mode.

In Menu mode, scrolls through the phone’s menus and Phonebook.

Why is my phone shutting off

My phone has been shutting off since I bought it and it is becoming more frequent. It started off shutting off only when I wasn't using it. Now I can be talking, pushing a button, etc and it will turn off. I have had it about 2 months.
