We can do minimal troubleshooting. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the product, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged.
If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the handset requires service/repair, our Repair Administrators will create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the device. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, the phone will be repaired under warranty.
If the phone has experienced damage or is out of warranty by date (it was purchased more than one year ago) the standard charge will likely apply for the repairs to your phone. We are only able to arrange payment for these repairs through credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

How do you reset this phone?

When I turned on the phone, it said "PIN Blocked. Call Customer care." I called Customer care and the phone said emergency calls only. I don't know what to do.

Thank you for your inquiry. This message appears when all signals are lost. While this is displayed you may only dial emergency numbers such as 911, Police, Fire Department or perhaps an ambulance. However, if this continues for a long period of time, this could indicate that the SIM card may be damaged.

We recommend contacting your service provider to investigate the possibility that a replacement SIM card would resolve this issue.

Transferring pictures between the SGH-T139 and a PC requires three things: the ability to send and receive picture messages on the device, a PC with an Internet connection, and an e-mail account.
Note: Please check with your Network Provider and about service charges associated with picture messages. Also, please check with your Internet and/or e-mail provider about applicable service charges. Samsung is not responsible for any charges incurred.
From Phone To PC
Press Menu > Messages (5) > Create Messages (1) > Picture Message (2)
Highlight the Image option and press Add > Photos (2)
Highlight the desired image thumbnail and press Add > Send To > New Recipient (3) > Email Address (2)
Enter the e-mail address and press Send

On a t139 how do you eliminate or edit the recipient list from the send aspect of text messaging?

I have several, one time, text addresses on the list. i will not use them again but they are on list and i must scroll to the one i use most often and check it. i want to delete the others.

There is no configurable option or settings to erase the recent recipient from the phone, However the only way to delete the recent recipient is to master reset the phone but after you do that option some of your information in the phone will be erase also like phone contacts, organizers info, Bluetooth devices that save on the handset and it may lead the phone returning to default factory settings. If you want to master reset your handset, you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a more timely manner than we could through this forum.

How often does the SGH-T139 transmit when not in use but is powered up?

How often does the SGH-T139 transmit when I'm not using it but have it turned on? And for how long? Is this based on a protocol or is each phone different? Where can I find this type of info? Where can I find more info about how control/setup channels work?

The SGH-T139 does not support the use of MP3 files. The phone do not support music download for rigtones, however there are pre loaded ringtones you can choose from.

On Bluetooth device, ensure that it is on and discoverable (refer to its user guide for more information)
On phone, navigate to Menu > Settings (9) > Bluetooth (4) > Turn On Bluetooth
Highlight desired Bluetooth device from list and press Select
After connection is established, press Options > Authorize Device

1. Press Menu > Fun & Apps (6) > Files (1) > Images (2) > Photos (2).
2. Highlight the desired image thumbnail.
3. Press Options > Send To My Album* (1) or Send via Picture Message (2).
4. For Picture Message option, press Send To.
5. Enter recipient and press Send.

How to download photographs?

How do I download photographs taken with the built-in camera to my computer? The phone comes with a nice built-in camera, but the manual does not give directions on how to download it. For whatever it is worth, I have a USB cable, just your site nor the box came with any Windows drivers.

Hi there.

This happens when the T9 text input mode is activated. The T9 mode automatically compares the series of keystrokes you make with an internal linguistic dictionary to determine the most likely word, thus requiring far fewer keystrokes than the traditional ABC mode.

You can change the text input mode by doing the following:

Press Menu
Press Messages (5)
Press Create Message (1)
Select Text Message (1) or Picture Message (2)
Press the right soft key. The text input mode
indicator displays in the lower right corner of your display.

The following options are available:
*T9 (English)
*ABC mode
*Number
*Symbol

Note: Select ABC mode as this this mode allows you to enter letters by pressing the key labeled with the letter you want.

3. When the Text input mode indicator that you desire displays, you may enter text in the text message box using the selected text input mode.
