you can't send files between your phone and computer via bluetooth (my old phone had that feature). you'd need a PC, and a data cable to send files between your pc and phone!

From Phone To PC

Press Menu > Messages (5) > Create Messages (1) > Picture Message (2)
Highlight the Image option and press Add > Photos (2)
Highlight the desired image thumbnail and press Add > Send To > New Recipient (3) > Email Address (2)
Enter the e-mail address and press Send
From PC To Phone

Sending photos to your SGH-T139 is as simple as sending an e-mail to your tmomail.net address that was assigned to you when your T-Mobile account was activated. Generally this e-mail account is [yournumber]@tmomail.net (without the brackets). Contact T-Mobile for more information.

1.Press Menu > Messages > Create Messages > Picture Message
2.Highlight the Image option and press Add > Photos

Regarding your concern, car chargers for T139 and U350 are just the same.

Both phone carries a car charger that has a product ID of CAD300SBE.

Regarding your concern, the batteries for T139 and U350 are not the same.

Product ID of a battery for T139 is AB463446BAB, and for the U350 the product ID is AB553446GZB.

These batteries support different milliampere and is tested for a specific phone.

'Troubleshooting picture messaging

To troubleshoot picture messaging, perform the following steps:
1. To receive picture messages, you will need to send two picture messages to your own phone number. The first message will register your phone with our system, and the second will allow you to receive picture messages.
NOTE: In most cases, you will not receive the first picture message you send to your phone.
2. If the second message sent is not received, turn your phone off and turn your phone back on. Once your phone is powered back on, attempt to send the two picture messages again.
3. If after turning your phone off and on you still do not receive the picture messages, please contact Customer Care. To expedite the troubleshooting process, have the following information ready:
The location of where you are using the service.
The number of signal bars you have on the phone.
The make and model of the phone you are using.
Whether you are able to receive a message.
The last time you were able to send and/or receive a message.'

It depends on your carrier.

The phone does not provide it's own service.
It must use towers to get calls.
If you have a roaming plan, then yes, it should.

But like I said before, yes, it depends where you are.

So if you're going to a desert for a week don't expect any reception!

Press Menu > Messages (5) > Create Messages (1) > Picture Message (2)
Highlight the Image option and press Add > Photos (2)
Highlight the desired image thumbnail and press Add > Send To > New Recipient (3) > Email Address (2)
Enter the e-mail address and press Send

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry. We understand that you would like to know if your battery charged your phone.

The battery icon on the phone status bar shows the level of your battery.

The more bars you see, the more power you have aof if it has full bar it's fully charged.

Battery charging time depends on the remaining battery charge and the type of battery and charger used. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will gradually wear out. When the operation time (talk time and standby time) is noticeably shorter than normal, it is time to buy a new battery.

Your phone is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery. A travel adapter, which is used for charging the battery, is included with your phone. Use only approved batteries and chargers. Ask your local Samsung dealer for further details.

You can use the phone while the battery is charging, but doing so requires additional charging time.

Note: You must fully charge the battery before using your phone for the first time. A discharged battery recharges fully in approximately 200 minutes.

1. With the battery installed, temporarily remove the plastic cover on the right side of the phone (as indicated) and plug in the travel adapter’s connector into the jack.

When the battery is weak and only a few minutes of talk time remain; a warning tone sounds and the “Battery low”
message repeats at regular intervals on the display. In this condition, your phone conserves its remaining battery
power, not by turning off the backlight, but by entering the dimming mode.

How can I download my cell phone contacts to my car's hands free system via Bluetooth?

I have a Samsung SGH-T139 cell phone with the prepaid service and my car
has a hands-free Bluetooth phone system. I would like to download my
cell phone contacts to the vehicle but when I get to the point in my
car's system to initiate the transfer from the phone, nothing happens
because I can't find any menu or command on the phone that allows me to
do that. Am I missing something or does this phone not allow a Bluetooth
transfer of contacts. If that is the case, are there any prepaid service
phones available that do allow that function?

you can only use a handsfree bluetooth headset or speaker with this phone. they don't allow data to be synced via bluetooth!

We do not have any software for the SGH-T139 that you can use in transferring contacts from your old phone or from your microsoft outlook.

You may transfer the contacts from your old phone to the SIMcard so that once your inserted the SIMcard on the SGH-T139 you will be able to see the numbers.

You may also ask your service provider if they have an available software that will allow you to transfer contacts from the old phone to your SGH-T139.

With regards to your concern, you may try to use a different battery to isolate the issue. It might be a software problem or the battery itself why you’re phone is not turning on. You can also go to any of your Service Provider store so they can test the battery for you.

Most issues may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting. Hello jwolcott!

The reason why your pc cannot recognize the phone that you have is because of the bluetooth profile that your handset has. It only has the Hansdfree profile - for car kit - and the headset profile - for bluetooth headset. Without the File Transfer Profile on your phone, it will not recognize by your computer via bluetooth.

We can try doing a reset on the phone.

Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the product, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged.

If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the handset requires service/repair, our Repair Administrators will create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the device. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, the phone will be repaired under warranty.

Configuring the number of rings before a call goes to voicemail is something which is configured by the Service Provider by editing your account with them. This is not a setting which can be configured on the phone itself as it is part of the network services by your provider. To adjust the Ring Count, we recommend contacting the Service Provider for assistance with this issue.

Show my number
In the Show my number menu you can select how your ID or phone number is handled when an outgoing call is initiated.
1. From Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Call settings ➔ Show my number and press the Select soft key or OK button.
2. Highlight your selection and press. Options include:
• Set by network: uses the default network information to identify you to the other party.
• Hide number: hides your identifying information to the other recipient.
• Show number: displays your identifying information to the other recipient.
3. Press Save to save your new selection.
