Hi gloriadis!

Thanks for your question! The Phone settings menu allows you to set the language option for your phone to Automatic, English or Español and to turn on or off the Keypad auto-lock feature.

In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Phone.

Note: When the Keypad auto-lock feature is on, your phone automatically locks your keypad when the phone has been idle for a while. To unlock your phone, press the Unlock soft key, then press OK.

The following options are available. Use the Down Navigation key to scroll to and set options:
• Language: allows you to select a display language. Press the Save soft key to save your new selection. Options include:
– Automatic: the language is automatically selected according to the language of the SIM card used.
– English: the selected phone language is changed to English.
– Español: the selected phone language is changed to Spanish.
• Keypad auto-lock: allows you to turn ON or OFF this feature.

To use the speed dial feature follow the steps below:

1-touch dialing

Call contact phone numbers assigned to speed dial memory locations 002 through 009 by pressing and holding the any of the 2 through 9 keys. For example, to speed dial the number assigned to location 9, press and hold the 9 key until the name and number appear in the display and the number is dialed.

2-touch dialing

Call contact phone numbers assigned to speed dial memory locations 010 through 099 by briefly pressing the first key, then pressing and holding the second key. For example, to speed dial the number assigned to location 099, briefly press 9, then press and hold the last 9 key until the name and number appear in the display and the number is dialed.

Note: Speed Dial Memory location 0 and 1 are preset for the international call prefix and the voicemail center number, respectively, and cannot be changed

PUK is the Pin Unlock Key and it is Required to unlock Pincode when Pincode is entered 3-10 times incorrectly. PUK is saved on the simcard.

Hello hrich,

That predictive T9 on your phone doesn't shows all the possible words but will only give you one option. It's a default setting of your phone for T9. No configurable option to change that on your handset.

we cannot assist in unlocking the phone for use on another network or overseas. We hold a proprietary licensing agreement with your Service Provider and it would be in violation of this agreement to assist in unlocking the phone.

Your Service Provider has these codes and should be able to provide support for this.

Please Note: Unlocking of the phone, although at the discretion of the service provider is possible, will void all Samsung warranties for support or service. Features that are available on the intended network may not be accessible on the alternate network. Features on the alternate network may not be available this phone as these features are not those of the network on which the phone was intended to be used, and therefore, are not programmed.

As to whether or not a phone of this type will be available for the network of your choice in the future, we are only able to provide information regarding models that are currently on the market for sale, as any pre-release information would be subject to change and could therefore be inaccurate at the time of launch.

How do I block calls from specific phone numbers. I tried adding them on the phone by add reject list. It didn't seem to work. I am tired of having my tracphone minutes used up by receiving calls by the school district trying to reach the family my cell phone number was assigned to before me.

Thank you for your correspondence. You may follow these steps below for the configuration. Once the Auto Reject is set, it will block incoming calls that is on the reject list.

To Add Contacts on Reject List:

Press Menu > Settings (9) > Call (6) > All Calls (1) > Auto Reject (2)
Highlight Activation and then use the right or left navigation keys to set the Activation option to On
Highlight Reject List and press OK > Options > Create
Enter a desired number and then press Options > Save

To Delete Contacts on Reject List:

Press Menu > Settings (9) > Call (6) > All Calls (1) > Auto Reject (2)
Highlight Reject List and press OK
Highlight the desired entry to be deleted and press Options > Delete (4) > Yes

If these procedure is still not working, you may have to contact your service provider which is TracFone for further assitance.

Did you accidentally drop the phone?
Was the phone has been exposed to liquids?
Did you ever download any third party software before you experienced this difficulty on the phone?

For troubleshooting, you may first to a different battery on the phone to isolate the issue. Hi evictorica!

Thank you for your inquiry. This menu allows you to change the format for the current time and date display. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key and select Settings ➔ Time and Date.
