We apologize for the problems you have experienced while attempting to register online. Samsung recommends using Internet Explorer for this process, as other browsers can encounter difficulties with serial number acceptance. Please select “Product Group: Mobile” and “Category – Cell Phones”. Your cursor will then jump to the Serial Number field. This can be found on your phone on the label beneath the battery. Please enter your IMEI The IMEI is the numeric code that is 15 characters long.
This information can be found on the label on the phone that is located beneath the battery. When entering your IMEI/HEX, please do not include slashes or spaces. Additionally, there are no alpha O’s – those characters are zeroes. Once the Serial Number field is populated, the manufacture date for your device will appear below this field, confirming that the serial number entered is valid. The Sub-Category, Model Name, and Model Code will also automatically populate with information specific to your phone.
Tips: Should some fields not auto-populate, modification of these fields is possible after entering your serial number. For the model code, please choose the first available option. For handsets carried by some regional service providers, the Sub-Category may display a service provider other than your own. It is not necessary to alter this. Allow us to assure you that this does not impact the success of your registration, nor your ability to receive technical support and warranty service. All that is necessary for warranty service is a valid proof of purchase. You can also register your phone through our Customer Care Center. At your earliest convenience, please call toll-free 1-888-987-HELP (4357) and choose options: 1 for Mobile Phone or Mobile Phone Accessories 7 for All Other Devices 4 to Speak With a Customer Service Representative A live operator can assist you between the hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

There is no configurable option on the settings of the phone to save pictures sent thru text message. You will have to forward this picture to your email, and via sync back to your phone. Save the picture, and assign it to your contact.

My email does not automatically download when I open the email function on my Samsung Galaxy tablet. I always have to go into account manager "incoming email" and click through each field, then it will "update" my incoming mail and deliver a big load of email. Also, my outgoing emails don't go out unless I do the same thing on the "outgoing" email setting. I just want the email to come and go automatically -- what do I need to change?

Thank you for the inquiry. You can transfer files between the phone and the computer by performing Mass Storage connection; you may follow these steps below.
Note: Before connecting the Tab on the computer make sure USB mode is on mass storage.
> How to change USB mode: * From home screen, tap setting * Select wireless and network * USB settings * Tap on mass storage >Connect the Samsung USB cable to the phone and the other end will be on the computer > When USB Connected screen appears tab mount > On the computer select open folder to view files > Select desired media files to copy > Then copy or drag and drop the desired media files from the Tab and paste it on the desired folder of the computer.

All of a sudden, all my calendars will not work. They will not open and immediately force close. This happens to the stock calendar as well as to any I purchase from the market, such as Jorte or any others. I have rebooted and turned the tab off then back, but this does not fix the problem. It has a camera lens on both sides, but I can only access the back camera for taking movies or still pictures. I want to use the front camera for Skype.

Regarding your concern, upon checking the specifications and settings on the Samsung Galaxy Tab (SGH-I987), we can only use the front camera for video calling feature.
For you to use the video call service on the tablet, we recommend contacting your Service Provider as they will be able to answer any questions you might have about video chat service, compatibility or how they work. They can also assist on how to download the compatible Skype application for the tablet
