Can't get the Wireless to connect at home

I have wpa/wpa2 secuity set it says
Status: obtaining IP address from....
Security: WPA/WPA2 PSK
Signal Strength Excellent
Link speed 54Mbps
But never connects at some point it goes to "Wireless disabled"

Please try to do soft reset by turning off the device for about 5 to 10 seconds them turn the phone on again.

Thank you for your inquiry. Regarding your concern, there are no configurable options to deactivate the restriction of Android Market on your phone. Since you're trying to download an application out of Android Market most defintiely this might not work or might have compatibility issues when downloaded on the phone.Please contact your Service Provider for options about the phone limitations.

Note: Android Market is a portal for all the compatible applications that you can download on your phone.

If Arabic language is not available in the options, you may download 3rd party application from the Market to have this functionality on your phone.

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, you can use the front camera, this allows you to take pictures of yourself and use the video chat application. Taking pictures with your device’s built-in camera is as simple as choosing a subject, pointing the camera, then pressing the camera key.

Note: When taking a photo in direct sunlight or in bright conditions, shadows may appear on the photo.

Steps to take a Self Shot picture, please follow the steps below:

1. From the Home screen, tap Applications> Camera to activate the camera mode. Using the tablet’s main display screen as a viewfinder, adjust the image by aiming the camera at the subject.
3. If desired, before taking the photo, you can tap on-screen icons to access various camera options and settings.
4. Select Shooting mode: allows you to set the shooting mode.
5. Select Self shot: allows you to take a picture with the camera.

Question

I have a memory card in my phone from my previous phone.

When I use it in my Capivate and change my contact list and save the changes to the phone, not the sim, when I do "Export to SD card", does the entire new contact list get exported and the original info is replaced? Or does old info get duplicated? And what about all the music, ringtones, and pictures?

Thank you for your inquiry. Once you exported your contacts to sd card, your creating a back up for your contacts. Regarding on the music, ringtones, and pictures, it is a default on the phone that it will be saved on the memory card.

AT&T Galaxy Tabs (SGH-I987) purchased during 10/31/2010 – 5/15/2011, will receive a $50 credit toward Media Hub purchases.

• Customers activate the gift through the Media Hub service on their device.
• Upon activating the service and redeeming the gift, customers have 60 days or the end of the promotional period to redeem the full value of the gift.

For you to create Media Hub account, please follow the steps below:
1. From the Home screen, select Applications.
2. Select Media Hub application.
3. Tap on the Menu.
4. Select My Account.
5. Create Account.
6. Fill up the all the information fields.
7. Read and check "I agree to the Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy" by tapping on the box beside it.
8. Tap on Create Account.

Hi, I just moved to the US from Europe and am trying to use all the functionality of my tablet. Unfortunately, I don't have the media hub since my tab is originally the Swiss version and I also can't find the Blockbuster app to download movies. Question

Is there a problem with the phone?

I installed the Zedge app but the ringtones do not appear on the ringotne list. My Husband also has a Captivate and when accessing his ringtones there is a menu option to choose between Zedge ringtone and Android ringtones. When you pick Zedge a list appears showing the downloaded tones. My phone just shows the standard Android ringtone list. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app and the problem still exists.

Android drivers will not load into Windows 7

When I attach my Tab to my computer via USB and place it into Kies firmware update, my computer I lists a driver error "Android Drivers not installed" I cannot do a firmware update or seach for updates. How can I fix?

Currently there is no firmware update of the Tab which is it's not working, as of now only Mass storage can done on the phone using the Samsung USB cable that came with the phone. However, you can check on our website periodically for possible future updates of the Tab, or also your service provider may possible notified you over the air for the updates and it will be prompted on the Tab.
