Question

What is the best video converter to use with the Galaxy Tablet.

I have used bothe the AVS8 and PC Hand software for conversion of DVD to MP4 with variable success when transfering media to the tablet. The process creates perfectly playable files on the PC using the VLC application but after uploading to the tablet the files aren not recognized.

If you are doing an over the air "OTA" update, then you shouldn't need to back up your phone. But it's always a good idea. You can plug you phone into you computer via USB and then mount the phone. This will allow you to copy files back and forth from your phone to your computer and vise versa. Now keep in mind that you can't back up your apps to your computer, but you can download a number of back programs from you android market that will back them up to your SD card. Unmount the phone, unplug it, and hit that update button.

Thanks for your question! Yes, you can print emails via Wi-Fi on a supported, Wi-Fi-enabled printer.

1. From a Home screen, touch Email .
2. Open an email to view it.
3. While viewing the email, press the Menu Key > Print.
4. If you are already connected to Wi-Fi, your device displays available printers. Touch a printer to proceed.

At the prompt, touch OK, then connect to a Wi-Fi network. After connecting, your device displays available printers. Touch a printer to proceed.

5. Follow the prompts to print the email.

Question

Will there be an upgrade to at least 2.3 OS?

When I purchased this Tab, I was told there would be automatic updates. I'm still in the 2.2 Froyo OS and I see other devices with a 2.3 Froyo and even the 10.1 tablet with the new 3.1 Honeycomb OS. Please reply with a real answer, not the usual "we don't know" answer. If it's never going to happen, I would like to know that so I can dump this device rather than keep waiting for something that's never going to happen.

I have turned the camera app on Self Shot mode but still the call recipient could not me. User guide says to turn on call settings, but no call setting option available under settings.
