Question

How do I sync my yahoo contacts?

Hello, I purchased this phone and I have my yahoo email setup on the phone, but cannot see any of my contacts, even though I clicked the blank check that turned green next to my contacts and calendar, when setting it up. Why won't they sync? The email works great.

Question

hate my phone

I am running on Gingerbread.

For the past week, I've watched tutorials and read instructions on how to update my phone to the latest ice cream, jelly bean, whatever.
no luck.

my phone is three months old, runs slower than the first iPhone, requires me to reset bluetooth every time i enter car, etc. If I complained about all the issues with it, I'd be here all day.
I used Kies, but can't figure it out. How do I update this second-rate phone?

I can't back up to sms card or my computer, so I do not want to restart. And At and T will not refund my money

Question

exchange server policy problem

I have set up my email to sync with my companies exchange server. The exchange server pushes out security settings to the phone. One of the security settings is to not allow attachments over 153600KB in size. I can see this policy under the settings and my email account on the phone. However, when I try to download an attachment over 153600 Bytes (NOT KB) it won't let me giving me an error saying attachments download isn't allowed by exchange server policy. Now when I try an attachment under 153600 Bytes (NOT KB) it allows the download. I tried another exchange server app and it said "Exchange Server Policy doesn't allow download of attachments over 156300 Bytes." It appears that the Samsung is interpreting the KBs as Bytes. Can you help?

Hi palbanese26,

Thank you for your inquiry. We're sorry to hear that you are not able to download incoming email attachments over 153600 Bytes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Please try to do a soft reset. Turn of the phone, remove and put the battery back after 1-2 minutes.

If the soft reset won't work, we recommednd you to check the setting of your exchange email with your IT department so that they can make sure that all the settings are properly setup.

You might also need to delete and then re-add the email account to make sure that you set it up properly on the phone while your IT specialists can assist you on the settings. They can also provide you more information regarding the restrictions on the exchange server.

If this won't work, please send us another email regarding the format of the file attachment that you are trying to download on your phone.
