Hi,

Connect your Samsung Galaxy S II to your PC or MAC using the supplied USB cable.

A USB icon will appear in the notification area.
Pull down the notification bar and touch USB Connected.
You will now see a USB Connected screen. Andy will be green and his left arm will appear as a USB connector.

Touch Connect USB Storage.
After a few seconds, the message on the screen will change to USB Storage In Use and Andy will turn orange.
You should now have Removable Disk prompts on your Windows PC or MAC and can begin transferring content between the device and the computer.
Note: Depending on whether you have a microSD™ card installed, one or two drives will appear. Click on one to explore the files. When a folder or file is found that you desire to transfer, simply drag and drop the file to the desktop.

Question

When I try to voice dial someone in my contacts what should I say as the command. I say call wife and it goes tot he internet and looks it up.

I had the windows phone before this one and it was very easy to make calls. I would simply click and hold my bluetooth botton and say who I wanted to call and home or mobile and it would look for the number and dial it. This phone has been a pain when it comes to do anything voice. Are you looking to make changes for bluetooth as well. Thanks.

I recently got the galaxy s II skyrocket in white and have noticed a high pitched sound whenever i put the charging block in an outlet. This it the normal charger that came with the phone. It is the cube block. First off, is this sound normal? I have read that other people have this problem as well. Second, is this good for my phone? Skip Doubletwist and use the Kies Air app that is preinstalled. You don't need cables, nor do you need to install any software on your PC to use it. You just have to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your PC. Connect to the Wi-Fi- network>run Kies Air>choose Start>you will be given a URL to enter into your browser on your PC. From here you can transfer media back and forth. If you want to sync your iTunes playlists, and that's why your using Double Twist, I would recommend Google Music.

Question

Skyrocket to PC via USB, does not show up on Windows 7 64 bit

I was able to connect last week and load several thousand photos onto my skyrocket. Today, I'm trying to connect, and it won't go. When I connect the USB cable to the phone, it makes a tone, but doesn't vibrate. The PC doesn't register anything. Last week, it worked, why not this week? On the phone, I go to Settings> Wireless and network> USB utilities. I click on the button "connect storage to PC", and a dialog box comes up saying "Connect USB cable to use mass storage." Whether I have already connected it or I reconnect it, it does not recognize that the cable is connected. I have checked out the other answers on this topic, and the instruction manual is not reflected by what really happens, which is nothing. The PC is okay and has not changed since last week. HELP!

Thank you for your question!

Please try to do a soft reset on the phone by powering it off and removing the battery then placing it back again to reboot the handset, then try here for steps.
