Is there a solution for the Bluetooth not turning back?
The phone is able to connect to my car fine initially. After I leave the car, turn bluetooth off, come back to the car some time later, I cannot turn the bluetooth back on. it requires a reboot of the phone. I'm on my second phone and it is having the same problem. Is there anything I can do to correct this? It seems to be a relatively common problem with this phone. I have tried 3 different vehicles. The phone reacts the same with all of them. Thanks!

Please soft reset both bluetooth devices first meaning turning the phone off then remove the battery from it for about a minute then put it back in and turn on again. Then turn on both devices bluetooth connection.
To Turn on Bluetooth :
Press the Home Key Press the Menu Key Tap on Settings Tap on Wireless and Network Tap on Bluetooth settings Tap on Bluetooth to turn on the radio
Note: The Bluetooth radio, when turned on, will display as the icon is seen in the status bar. To disable the Bluetooth radio, tap Bluetooth once more.
To change Bluetooth visibility options :
Press the Home Key Press the Menu Key Tap on Settings Tap on Wireless and Network Tap on Bluetooth settings
Note: The Bluetooth radio must be turned on in order to scan for nearby device. If the icon is seen in the status bar, skip step 6.
Tap on Bluetooth to turn on the radio Tap on Discoverable
Note: To help increase security, the phone will have a 120 second time limit on discovery. If you are unable to establish connection within the time frame, simply tap Discoverable again to turn it on.
If pairing is unsuccessful, please delete or remove the previous bluetooth devices that have been paired on both handsets then pair it once again.
In order to remove a paired Bluetooth device, follow the steps below:
1. Press the Home Key 2. Press the Menu Key 3. Tap on Settings 4. Tap on Wireless and Network 5. Tap on Bluetooth settings
Note: The Bluetooth radio must be turned on. If the icon is seen in the status bar, skip step 6.
6. Tap on Bluetooth to turn on the radio 7. Tap and hold on the desire device 8. Tap Disconnect and unpair

I have a Samsung R580 laptop and a Sumsung Skyrocket SGH i727 phone, and I am unable to connect the phone to the laptop. Laptop cannot find the device even when searching. When initally connecting the phone, I did get an error that one file did not download properly, but I am unable to deinstall as it does not recognize the device.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit. I can charge the phone and my laptop tries to access via USB; however, it continually states its an unrecognized device. I also tried KIES and it can't recognize the device. I further tried several ports and even bought a new cable. Is there some location that I can obtain updated drivers?

This is a common problem with the phone and i have been trying to track down why for some time. It seems that it might have something to do with generic chargers/cables. Even the iphone usb wall charger..
however, i dont know enough about it to really troubleshot it.
When you reboot your phone, the battery will recycle to the correct percentage.

Question
Battery life of skyrocket
Hi, I recently got samsung galaxy II skyrocket from At&T. This phone is very nice and good. But my battery drains very fast. Is the battery problem is the issue for this model or just my phone has this issue. How can I improve the battery life? Thanks. -Basu

Thank you for your inquiry.
Battery life durations specified on our products are tested in our labs under multiple different conditions and the talk and standby times are a realistic average maximum dependent on customer usage variables. Battery power consumption depends on a number of factors, such as network configuration, signal strength, operating temperature, features selected, frequency of calls, and voice, data, and other application usage patterns. Some variables that may affect battery life are: • Backlight settings set to always on or a long amount of time • Ring tone settings set to higher volume settings • Vibrate settings turned on • Using Internet Services including Text Messaging • Making and/or Receiving calls in, or simply standing by in, an analog service area • If you tend to be in a "weak" coverage area where your signal strength meter shows only 1 to 2 bars • Using non-SAMSUNG charging accessories can cause battery life and other issues, as well as void the manufacturer’s limited warranty.
If the battery is not holding a charge it may mean that it is not charging properly. Make certain that the charger cable is properly plugged in. It is also possible that the battery may be damaged.

Why does Skyrocket transfer each phone number within a single contact separately via bluetooth?
I have a 2011 Infiniti M. When the SkyRocket transfers contacts to car via bluetooth it sends each number within a single contact as a separate contact. For instance, John Doe has a home, mobile and work number within a single contact phone entry. Yet when transfered via bluetooth to car, car phonebook shows 3 separate John Doe contacts - each with a different phone number corresponding to home, mobile and work.
