how long will samsung galaxy note's battery get fully charge?

i had my samsung galaxy note for a week...i alway need more than 3 hours to get fully charged ,,,that is normal or there are some things wrong with my device ,, battery or the charger...is anyone have the same problem?

Charging time depends on the current battery percentage when your Note is plugged into the charger. At 40% mine takes a few hours to fully charge. The battery in the Note is larger than most and the plug-in charger supplies the standard amount of current. This phone should take longer to charge than your previous phone.

Battery power consumption depends on a number of factors, such as network configuration, signal strength, operating temperature, features selected, frequency of calls, and voice, data, and other application usage patterns.
Some variables that may affect battery life are:
• Backlight settings set to always on or a long amount of time
• Ring tone settings set to higher volume settings
• Vibrate settings turned on
• Using Internet Services including Text Messaging
• Making and/or Receiving calls in, or simply standing by in, an analog service area
• If you tend to be in a "weak" coverage area where your signal strength meter shows only 1 to 2 bars
• Using non-SAMSUNG charging accessories can cause battery life and other issues, as well as void the manufacturer’s limited warranty.

If the battery is not holding a charge it may mean that it is not charging properly. Make certain that the charger cable is properly plugged in. It is also possible that the battery may be damaged. If you suspect that it may be, or should this issue continue to occur, please feel free to call us here at Samsung Technical Support at 1-888-987-4357.

There are quite a few good apps for business. Not sure what type of business you are in but here are a few that I use, 2X client to remote into other computers on my internal network. Box.net to transfer files to multiple devices via the internet. Astro file manager to view all files/ folders on my phone. Free Active Directory app that allows me to view and manage all users/computers in my companies Microsoft Active Directory. Keep Track Pro is great for creating/ maintaining on the go stats charts. QuickOffice to view/edit all MS Office files. SplashTop remote desktop to connect to any pc's that have the splashtop streamer installed via the internet. IMO which is an instant messaging client that can host all your IM accounts in on account like Yahoo, AIM, Facebook.

AT&T has an app called AT&T2GO which lets you manage contact information. It is web based and syncs to the phone when you are done.

Look in settings for the stylus, there is an option to sense the S-Pen when hovering over the screen, not sure if that is your issue, but do take a look.

Once you have your destination set and begin moving you can push the sleep button on side. The navigator will still talk and then if you need you can press it again to see the screen as needed. If running Juice Defender or another app be sure to enable it for screen off.

Battery Hot and will not continue charging

While charging my battery using the adapter that came with my galaxy note, I heard a beep and indicated that it stopped charging since batter was hot. True enought the back of the note was very hot. It went up to only a 70% charge.

Issue with White Note Battery Cover?

My White Galaxy Note has this creaking on the upper right hand of the back battery cover. The AT&T store gave me another cover, and I am having the same issue.

Is this a common problem? I noticed this does not happen on the Carbon Blue Notes.

I've just bought the 32gb GTN.But there is no sign of 32gb on the box & in the menu settings-storage it shows just 25.5 gb total space & 1.69gb system storage !!! Where is the rest 4/5 gb's ??? Also there is no additional sd memory inside the box,is that for all Samsung products?

USB charger possibly faulty, return it to AT&T store for a replacement. As far as 32 gig, because of industry standards of digital storage space, some space is lost because marketing of storage products classify 1 kilobyte of data as 1000 bytes, were as most operating systems including Android classify it at 1024 bytes. This results in smaller storage space then what you see on the box in the stores.

And no, the Galaxy Note does not come with a micro SD card.

Possible Fix for Amazon MP3 and Cloud Login Issue:

1) Press Menu
2) Press Settings
3) Press Applications
4) Press Manage Applications
5) Locate and select Amazon MP3 app.
6) Press Clear Data
7) Press Clear Cache
8) Press Home key
9) Open App and try logging in again.

Select certain numbers(contacts) to ring through when phone is in silent mode

I get a large number of texts and emails after I'm asleep, so I put my phone in silent mode. However as a manager of a retail store, I need to be able to receive calls from the security company. Does anyone know of a way to set certain contacts to ignore silent mode and ring anyway?

Alarms and media files are not restricted by silent mode according to the settings I've seen. You could try linking those contacts to an alarm or song file and see if it comes through.

Unfortunately, I do not see a configurable option to set certain contacts to ignore the silent mode setting. You can however, set different ringtones and notifications for a a certain group.

how do you delete and app?

I have an app that I would like to delete, and I was hoping that someone would tell me and make it easier than going through the book.

Delete/Remove Application

1) Press Menu
2) Press Settings
3) Press Applications
4) Press Manage Applications
5) Locate and choose application to be deleted.
6) Press Uninstall
