Question

Can I sync my Blackjack II with any calendar/contacts program besides Microsoft Outlook?

I have been syncing my calendar and contacts with Microsoft Outlook. I want to upgrade to a newer version and use the home/student version of MS Office, but it does not come with Outlook. Can I sync instead to MSN calendar/contacts, or some other (less expensive) calendar/address book package?

Hi there!

Software provided for SGH-I617 is guaranteed to work with Outlook 2003 or 2007. We do not have details if the software version would work with Office 2010.

However, you may still check with Microsoft the compatibility of your office version with Activesync 4.5 and Windows Mobile Device Center.

Hi Kenku,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

Regarding your concern, we cannot assist you in unlocking your phone for use on another network. We hold a proprietary licensing agreement with your Service Provider and it would be in violation of this agreement to assist in unlocking the phone.

Features that are available on the intended network may not be accessible on the alternate network. Features on the alternate network may not be available this phone as these features are not those of the network on which the phone was intended to be used, and therefore, are not programmed.

As to whether or not a phone of this type will be available for the network of your choice in the future, we are only able to provide information regarding models that are currently on the market for sale, as any pre-release information would be subject to change and could therefore be inaccurate at the time of launch.
