Hi there,

Thank you for the inquiry of your Samsung SGH-I617. If your try to save your contacts from phone's memory to the SIM card, you may follow these steps.

To Copy Contacts From SGH-I617 Phone To The SIM Card
====================================================
While in standby mode, press the right soft key for Contacts
Highlight the desired contact, saved in the handset's memory, using the navigation keys
Press the OK button to view the contact
Press the right soft key for Menu
Select Save to SIM
Press the left soft key for Done to save the contact from the SGH-i617 to the SIM card

Note: The contact will now be displayed twice in the contact list
Note: There are no configurable options available to copy more than one contact at a time.

Thank you for your inquiry. There's no configurable option for you to transfer picture files to your SIM card that you're using on your Samsung phone. The SIM card can only store text messages and contact numbers that you have.

Question

My Black jack 2 has been syncing fine for the last 9 months. It last sync'd 12/31/2010 1:27 am.

I get a windows pop up saying it doesn't recognize the usb device. I tried reistalling windows mobile device center. No change. I ran hardware and device troubleshooter and I see "Windows has stopped this device because it reported problems. (Code 43). I can not find what code 43 is.

Thank you for your inquiry. please try to update the driver in your computer by trying to launch the run command and type in devmgmt.msc. Click on OK until it launches your Device Manager. Look for any marked items under USB Controllers then right click your mouse until you get the option to update driver.

3. Select Profiles (E)

Why are my ringtone files corrupt?

My phone won't make a sound when I get a phone call or text message. I tried to change the ringtone and almost all the ringtone files are "corrupted or unavailable" I didn't drop the phone, the phone didn't get wet, I'm not really sure how this happened.

I just added a new line from AT&T to reuse my BlackJack phone for my wife. I received a new sim card and I keep getting a message requesting the SIM unlock code.
