Question

Clicking Contacts just says "Synchronizing" for hours, can't access address book

I entered 6 contacts into my address book on a new Samsung Flight II phone with photos for 4 of them. Now when I click on the Contacts link on the home screen or on Menu > Address Book I just get a pop-up that says "Synchronizing..." and goes away. I can't access the address book to change favorites or add new contacts.

However, if I turn the phone off completely and then turn it back on, I can access the address book for a few minutes, but after that I just get the Synchronizing message. I've left the phone on for a few hours and the Synchronizing messages doesn't seem to go away except by turning the phone off and then on again.

Question

Is it possible for people with a samsung flight 2 to get a software update?

It's a good phone but the messaging gets confusing. it always gets piled up and you have to click replay then send and do that over and over again. The iphone and other phones have just one conversation so you get more organized with all your messages. I was hoping you could give people a software update for that so it is an easier and more organized way of messaging.
