How do I change the password if I don't know the old password?

I need to reset my son's phone and it is aksing for a password. We never put a password on the phone so we don't know what to use. Please advise. Thanks.

Battery life durations specified on our products are tested in our labs under multiple different conditions and the talk and standby times are a realistic average maximum dependent on customer usage variables. Some variables that may affect battery life are:

Backlight settings set to always on, or a long amount of time
Ring tone settings set to higher volume settings
Vibrate settings turned on
Using Internet Services including Text Messaging
Making and/or Receiving calls in, or simply standing by in an analog service area
If you tend to be in a "weak" coverage area where your signal strength meter shows only 1 to 2 bars
Using non-SAMSUNG charging accessories can cause battery life and other issues, as well as void the manufacture's limited warranty.

Please try to do a soft reset on the phone by powering it off and removing the battery then placing it back again to reboot the handset.

Go to settings, then go to Phone. Scroll down to Touch panel auto-lock and turn it off. Your phone will be unlocked.

Question

Why Does my phone get disconnected from New PC Studio when I try to sync my memos?

I have gotten 3 different errors all by doing the exact same thing:
1)Phone is disconnected
2)User canceled the action (I didn't)
3)Cannot access the memory space (or something to that effect)

The memos are not lengthy (less than 100 characters)
All i do is connect my phone, NPS recognizes it, PC studio is selected on the phone, open the memos window in NPS, click on the sync button, looks like it is working, then disconnects with error mentioned above.

I have own my Samsung Flight II for about 3 days now. When I first received it & started using the text messages I really liked it because the text

Press Settings > Display and Light > Font Type
Press the desired Font Type
Press Save to keep the menu Font Type setting

Question

New PC Studio vs the Flight II

I downloaded the New PC Studio and tried to use it with my new Flight II. I downloaded the program and when it was finished installing, I hooked up the phone. Vista (32bit) informed me that the driver has been installed. I set the USB connectivity as Media Player and with a lot of difficulty I was able to get the phone and Windows Media Player to communicate. I had to remove the cable from the phone and reconnect several times before it would connect to Media Player. (waiting at least 2 minutes between tries,) I terminated that connection and closed New PC Studio, I changed the connectivity to PC Studio on the phone, saved it and brought up New PC Studio. The phone would not connect. I could not use any of the functions in New PC Studio to send data to the Flight II (A927). This disappointed me greatly. I uninstalled and redownloaded the New PC Studio and tried the process described above again, with the exact same results. EASY START never detects the phone in NPC mode. Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong.

When I put in new numbers it says save but the names do not show in my contact list. when i type in the name or number again it says its in use but what does that mean? I want the numbers in my contact list so i can use them.

To add a contact to the address book follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, press Contacts
Press Create Contact
Enter the Contact information into the fields displayed
Press Save to save the Contact in the Address Book
If the Contact has multiple phone numbers, set the default number by pressing More, Mark as Default then press the desired number and press Done
To permanently Delete contacts from the address book follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, press Menu
Press Settings
Press Application Settings
Press Address Book
Press Used Space
Press Phone
Press each Contact to delete in order to check their box or press Select All to delete all Contacts
Press Delete to permanently remove the Contact(s)
