Hi. Your phone has a capability to block a certain contact from calling you, but there’s no option to block a contact from texting you. What you can do is to text that contact and ask him to stop texting you chain letter texts.

Question

How am I supposed to set the calibration using the touch screen when the calibration is so far off I can't press the menu option?

The touch calibration gets goofed up on the phone all the time and this time it is so bad I can't even press the menu button. Whenever I press anything at the bottom of the screen it is actually acting like I touched the very top of the screen directly above where I touched. Doesn't make a difference if I slide keyboard open even.

Greetings!
Upon checking the phone’s information, the color of the number’s font on the phone is a pre-loaded setting that was on the phone when it is manufactured. And we do not have any configurable options to change the setting of the number’s font color.

We do appreciate hearing from our customers, as your comments are vital for us to continue improving our products, as well as our business.

It was a pleasure doing business with you.

Hi there!

Regarding your concern, try to use a different battery first to isolate the issue. It might be a software problem due to dropping the handset or the battery itself that's why the phone is not turning on. You can go to any of your Service Provider store so they can test the battery for you.

Most issues may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting. If after troubleshooting, the handset still not working then we can set up a repair on your product.

We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged. The handset requires service/repair; our Repair Administrators will create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the device. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, the phone will be repaired under warranty.

For troubleshooting and questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

Thank you for choosing Samsung.

You have to place first the Plantronics Explorer headset in discoverable mode.

Press and hold the control button until the indicator light starts flashing blue and red. It takes approximately two seconds for the indicator lights to come on if you have not previously paired the headset with another device, and eight seconds if you have previously paired the headset with another device.

To pair the SGH-A877 (Impression) handset with a Bluetooth® Device follow the steps below:

Place the Bluetooth® device in discoverable mode
From the standby screen, press Menu
Press Settings
Press Connectivity
Press Bluetooth®
Search for the Bluetooth® device by pressing on Search, located in the bottom left corner
Press Yes to Activate Bluetooth® and start the search
Press the desired Bluetooth® Device (if not shown press the left or right arrows until displayed)
Press the Passkey "0000" then press OK, you will get a brief message stating connecting followed by connected, if prompted press OK again
Note: The first time you try to pair with another handset, you and the owner of the other handset must enter the same PIN. Once the handsets are paired, you will not need to use the PIN again.

If pairing is unsuccessful, remove the bluetooth devices that's been paired on the handset before then pair it once again.

To remove Bluetooth devices follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, press Menu
Press Settings
Press Connectivity
Press Bluetooth
Press the Bluetooth device
Press Delete
Press either Selected, Multiple or All
If Multiple, press each device to check their boxes then press Delete
Press Yes, if prompted, to confirm the deletion of the Bluetooth device(s)

The SGH-A877 handset features four different methods to transfer pictures from the phone to a PC. Each are explained, in depth, please check each below:
Via the New Samsung PC Studio
Prior to connecting the USB cable to the handset, install the latest version of the Samsung PC Studio application. This application installs the necessary USB drivers onto your PC. For a free download of PC Studio, go to http://www.samsung.com/us/support.
Note: The SGH-A877 phone includes support for Digital Rights Management (DRM) which allows you to play or view some purchased or subscription content.
