Question

How to transfer video with sound from phone to personal computer?

There are four responses on line. Three list places to go for answers. None of the pages will come up on my computer. Windows 7, Internet Explorer. I can transfer video files, but I lose the audio portion of the file when playing it back on the PC.

Phone has unknown indicator icon on it, can you help me with giving me information on what it is?

shaped like a box and contains many smaller box shapes, its just white and black and since i have noticed the icon i haven't been able to talk to other people on the phone. i can call and receive but either me or the other person can hear each other and there is no sound when calling

Most issues may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting.Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the product, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged.

IN WARRANTY REPAIR:

If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the handset requires service/repair, our Repair Administrators will create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the device. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, the phone will be repaired under warranty.

NOTE: A copy of the Proof of Purchase must also be included with the phone when sending it in for service.

OUT OF WARRANTY REPAIR:

For information on what is and is not covered by The Standard Limited Warranty, we invite you to go to http://www.samsung.com/us/support/repairpolicy/servicePolicyWarrantyMain.do and view a full version of the warranty the covers all Samsung phones and accessories.

If the phone has experienced damage or is out of warranty by date (it was purchased more than one year ago) the standard charge will likely apply for the repairs to your phone. Charges start at $65.00 and can increase, depending upon the nature and severity of the issue. We are only able to arrange payment for these repairs through credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

LIQUID OR MOISTURE DAMAGE:

Due to Samsung's policy with repairs, any damage encountered to the phone through water or other liquids can and in most cases will cause corrosion to the inner workings of the handset. In these circumstances, it is no longer feasible to attempt to repair the phone; consequently, the phones received in this condition into our North Texas repair facilities are shipped back to the customer un-repaired. If you have insurance through your service provider please contact them for a possible replacement phone. Also, if you purchased the phone with a credit card most companies offer buyers protection. Contact your Credit Card Company to inquire about this program.

CONTACTING SAMSUNG CUSTOMER CARE TO ARRANGE FOR REPAIR:

For troubleshooting and questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

A Customer Service Representative will be able to assist you between the hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time. The defective product will need to be sent to our repair center and a Proof of Purchase is required. The Repair Administrator will assign an RMA # for the repair that will need to be written under our address on the outside of the package being sent. The phone will be tested and inspected for quality assurance while in our facilities. This will ensure the fact that your phone will be completely functional with all necessary repairs performed when the handset is shipped from our facilities.

NOTE: A copy of the Proof of Purchase must also be included with the phone when sending it in for service.

Our repair facility will have the phone roughly 5-10 days from the time that it is received. Some dealer locations may offer a loaner phone program while your handset is in repair. While Samsung cannot control the availability of these products or programs in your area, please contact your local provider or dealer if you are in need of a phone, to find out if they are a participating member of this program. If you have any questions regarding this process, please ask the Service Representative at the time of your call.

Additionally, if your device is in warranty or you have insurance through your service provider, some providers do offer a replacement policy on phones which need servicing. In some cases, they may send out a replacement phone and the defective phone is sent back to them in return. For more details on a possible exchange, please contact your Service Provider.

If this error message shows up on your phone, it is possible that there's an error in the software of your phone.

Please try to do a soft reset. Turn of the phone, remove and put the battery back after 1-2 minutes.

It is possible that your SMS center number settings or text messaging settings is been change or on your nearest location network service provider tower is updating their system. You may contact your Service Provider Customer Care support number for further assistance for checking the status of the nearest tower on your location or getting the correct settings of your SMS configuration.

You may reach AT&T at 1-800-331-0500 for further assistance.

If any of this won't won't work, please perform a Factory reset on your phone.

It may also be that the strength of the signal may be particularly weak in that specific area. Geographic conditions, internal software and tower placement play a significant role in how well the phone grabs and maintains a signal. I'm sorry for what happen. As i have checked, power cycle of the phone do not delete any information. We cannot speculate the issue at the moment. The deleted calendar event cannot be retreived anymore.
