Hi rcooper!

Because Voicemail is a network service offered by your service provider, questions concerning voicemail, such as those outlined below, would be best addressed by contacting your service provider.

> Configuring your Voicemail for the first time
> Desire to change the greeting
> Unsure of the password
> Wish to change the password
> Would like to know how to access your voicemail from another phone

There are no configurable options available to lock any of the keys on the SGH-a847 (Rugby II) phone.

Once you flip the phone close, it will secure the keypad and lock the screen to prevent inadvertent access on the keyboard.

Hi!

Your SGH-a847 (Rugby II) Phone supports the following Audio File:

.aac
.mp3

The easiest way to transfer music files on your phone is via Memory Card.

In order to use this option, the microSD memory card must be formatted by the phone to create the necessary folders.

Note: The minimum size limit for the microSD memory card is 32MB. This phone does support the use of up to a microSDHC 16GB capacity memory card.

On the PC

Insert the microSD memory card into the memory card adaptor
Insert the memory card adaptor into the memory card reader
Connect the memory card reader to the PC’s USB port
Copy desired MP3 files from the PC hard drive
Paste the MP3 files into the microSD memory card's Music or Tones folder
Remove the microSD memory card from the memory card adaptor
On the Samsung phone

While in standby mode, insert the microSD memory card into the memory card slot, located on the lower left side
Press the right soft key for Menu
Select My Stuff
Highlight the On Card tab, using the left or right navigation keys
Highlight the Audio folder, using the navigation keys, then press the AT&T Icon key
Highlight either the Music or Tones folder, using the navigation keys, then press the AT&T Icon key
Highlight the MP3 file, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Options
Select either Move or Copy
Select either Selected or Multiple
If Multiple, highlight each MP3 file, press the AT&T Icon key to check the boxes, then press the left soft key to Move or Copy the files
Highlight Phone, using the navigation keys, then press the AT&T Icon key
Highlight the Audio folder, using the navigation keys, then press the AT&T Icon key
Highlight either the Tones or Music folder, using the navigation keys, then press the AT&T Icon key
Press the left soft key for Options
Select to Paste Here to Move or Copy the MP3 file to the phone

Note: Audio files less than 300 KB are treated as ringtones, whereas audio files which are greater than 300 KB are stored in the Music Folder. You can not set an MP3 file as a ringtone if it is larger than 300 KB.

Question

Can I find a contact by entering letters of their last or first name - I have hundreds of contacts

I could configure my old phone to find my contacts by simply typing the keys that corresponded to the letters. 2 was for names with an A, B, or C in that position and it would progressively down-select names as I entered more numbers. I have about 300 contacts and starting with A or Z every time and scrolling is a pain!
