The SGH-a847 (Rugby II) phone features four different methods to transfer pictures from the phone to a PC. Each are explained, in depth, further down the page.

Click on a method listed below to go directly to that Picture transfer method instructions.

Via Bluetooth

Please Note: The SGH-a847 (Rugby II) phone includes support for Digital Rights Management (DRM) which allows you to play or view some purchased or subscription content. Note: If the list does not populate, click Refresh.

Note: If images still do not show up, it is most likely the memory location is different. Click the previous button and repeat steps.

Thank you for your inquiry.
There is a way to transfer or import the contacts from New PC Studio to you Samsung Rugby II. However, SD card cannot store contacts, it will only store media files. And the good thing about this is that you can just import the contacts from NPS directly to your phone with the use of a USB cable. I think your phone did come with a USB cable. And before you connect the USB cable to your phone & computer, you must first set the USB connection mode to PC Studio. Make sure also that Bluetooth on your phone is turned off. Once, everything is ready then you can connect the phone to your PC and launch NPS from your desktop. And if NPS is already open, look for all the contacts & there was an option to import contacts, just select it. And then contacts will be imported to your phone.
But, if you want a proper walk through on how it is done feel free to call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

Thank you for your continued interest in Samsung products.
Sincerely,

Samsung has launched several initiatives in an effort to become an eco-friendly Company to “go green”. One such practice now in place is to eliminate the printing of hard copy User Manuals for our handsets. This is an ongoing project, and for this reason, we are no longer providing printed User Manuals upon request.
However, the user manual for your Samsung phone in PDF format is available for download from the Samsung Download Center. From the website, simply enter the model or portion of the model number or name into the product search field to take you to the user manuals available.
Additionally, we encourage you to click here to view the FAQ's for your device, as this provides step by step instructions for many popular features of your device.
Should you have additional questions concerning a specific feature of your device, please contact us anytime, as we would be happy to provide additional information.
You can also contact our Customer Care Center by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

Here's how you can enable the speakerphone feature of the SGH-A847.

While on an incoming or outgoing call, the Speakerphone key, located on the right side of the phone, functions as the Speakerphone button. Press it to enable the Speakerphone. You will see the Speakerphone icon on the SGH-a847 (Rugby II) phone main display to signify the Speakerphone option is enabled. Use the volume keys (located on the left side of the phone) to adjust the Speakerphone volume. Repeat the same steps again to disable the Speakerphone, for privacy.

Warning: Due to higher volume levels, do not place the phone near your ear when using the speakerphone feature.

Hi, since the phone has water damage it is considered as unrepairable because of the corrosion set on the phone. What you can do is to insert your sim card on different phones to see if your sim is still working.

Greetings!

Pertaining to your query the phone, the recipients list are the list of people included those who you have frequently sends out a message to, the contacts list are the list of people or contacts that you normally have. It is a default setting for the phone whenyou sends out a message that you will need to browse it first before you can send a message out. Apparently we do not have any configurable options to change that.

It was a pleasure doing business with you.
