To download photos from phone to PC Via Windows Explorer (Mass Storage) :
Note: If the Bluetooth feature is currently active on the phone, USB communication between devices will not be available. To transfer files to or from the phone, turn off the Bluetooth functionality
Important: In order to transfer pictures (via Windows Explorer & a USB cable) to a PC the pictures MUST be located on a formatted microSD Memory Card. The microSD memory card must first be formatted, by the phone, in order for the phone to create the destination folders. This phone does support the use of a microSDHC memory card of up to 16GB capacity.
Warning: Formatting a memory card will permanently delete all current content. To format a microSD memory card follow the steps below:
Insert a microSD memory card into the memory card slot, located under the phone battery
From the standby screen, press the right soft key for Menu
Select My Stuff
Highlight the On Card tab, using the left or right navigation keys
Highlight Audio, Pictures, or Videos, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Options
Select More
Select Memory Card Settings
Select Format
Press the left soft key for Yes to confirm formatting the microSD Memory Card
On the phone :
From the standby screen, press the right soft key for Menu
Select My Stuff (7)
Highlight the On Phone tab, using the left or right navigation keys
Highlight the Graphics folder, using the navigation keys, then press the Center key to view the contents
Highlight the desired Photo, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Options
Select either Move (6) or Copy (7)
Select either Selected (1) or Multiple (2)
For Multiple Images, highlight each Photo, using the navigation keys
Press the Center key to check each Photo’s box
Press the left soft key for either Move or Copy
Highlight Memory Card, using the navigation keys, then press the left soft key for Select
Highlight the Graphics folder, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Options
Select Open (1)
Press the left soft key for Options
Select Paste Here (1) or Move Here (1) to Move or Copy the Photos to the microSD memory card
Highlight Memory Card, using the navigation keys, then press the left soft key for Select
Highlight the Graphics folder, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Options
Select Open (1)
Press the left soft key for Options
Select Paste or Move Here (1) to Move or Copy the Photo to the microSD memory card
If connection is unsuccessful, kindly try to check the following....
> Try using a different USB port (if using a desktop PC, please try to connect the USB data cable at the back port of the CPU)
> Restart the PC and soft reset the phone (turn off and remove the battery for about a minute and put it back in the phone and turn it on again)
> Make sure that the USB cable is samsung genuine accessory
> Try using a different USB cable
> Try to check the removable storage through the "My Computer"
> Turn off / disable bluetooth connection of the phone

Select Settings
Select Connectivity
Choose Select USB Mode
Highlight the desired USB Setting from the following:
Ask on Connection
Media Player
PC Studio
Mass Storage
Press the left soft key for Select to save the USB Setting
Connect the USB cable to both the phone's Headset jack/Adapter jack & the PC's USB slot
When successfully connected, the phone will show the connected icon on the top right of the display
If prompted, Select the Mass Storage USB setting
Select "Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" on the new Removable Disk screen
Navigate to the picture location, inside the Pictures folder
Open Windows Explorer
Drag n Drop or copy & paste the picture to the desired destination on the PC
If connection is unsuccessful, kindly try to check the following....
