Hi cdmessina!

Thank you for your correspondence. You may have to download the Samsung New PC Studio software to transfer picture between the phone and computer. You can use the link below to download the software and install it on your computer.

Hi susan0468!

Thank you for taking the time to inform us of the issue concerning your Samsung product.

Regarding your concern, we recommend having a soft reset on your Samsung Rugby® Cell Phone (SGH-A837). Soft reset is removing the battery for about a minute on your phone and putting it back just for you to refresh the settings on the handset. We recommend also pressing the volume up key while you are on call.

Should this troubleshooting step did not work; we invite to contact our Customer Support Center as they can troubleshoot this issue in a timelier manner than we could through forum correspondence.

At your earliest convenience, please call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

Again, we thank you for comments and appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

if you are using Att change the speed dial number on number 1 to 12253011799 and then call it to set up the voice mail if you are not useing Att call who ever your phone is with and ask them for the voice mail number and then put it in1 and call it and them set up your voice mail ,
see what they all do is if you do not answer the cellphone the call it sent to the voice mail number and them when you call that number it can tell that it is your phone calling it and it will tell you the amount of call you have and then play them.
one more thing you use the number 1 because most phone are set up to speed dial your voice mail and you may want to try to hold it down and see if the number is call for voice mail first and just set is up .

Hi there!

Thank you for your correspondence.

Most issues like this may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the handset, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged.

Our repair facility will have the phone roughly 5-10 days from the time that it is received. Some dealer locations may offer a loaner phone program while your handset is in repair. While Samsung cannot control the availability of these products or programs in your area, please contact your local provider or dealer if you are in need of a phone, to find out if they are a participating member of this program. If you have any questions regarding this process, please ask the Service Representative at the time of your call.

Additionally, if your device is in warranty or you have insurance through your service provider, some providers do offer a replacement policy on phones which need servicing. In some cases, they may send out a replacement phone and the phone that you are having issues with will be sent back to them in return. For more details on a possible exchange, please contact your Service Provider.

Thank you for your continued interest in Samsung products. Have a good day.

After hooking up your phone to the computer, you will see the USB symbol in the "communicator line" (at the top of your display). pull this down by touching and sliding it down. select "USB connected", another window appears, select "Mount". You should now be able to view, move, access files on your phone and pc.
