Regarding your concern, you may try to perform a soft reset on the phone which is by removing the battery at the back of the phone for about a minute then put it back on your phone. After which, you may try to send picture messages using the handset.

If still not doing anything, you would need to contact your Service Provider to properly configure the message center on the phone since this is a network dependent feature. And you may also try to check with them the requirements for them to allow you to send and receive picture messages on the handset.

Hi there!

We can do minimal troubleshooting. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the product, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged.

If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the handset requires service/repair, our Repair Administrators will create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the device. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, the phone will be repaired under warranty.

If the phone has experienced damage or is out of warranty by date (it was purchased more than one year ago) the standard charge will likely apply for the repairs to your phone. We are only able to arrange payment for these repairs through credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

For troubleshooting and questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

Have a good day.

If you intend to unlock the phone and use it with a different provider, then you will need to contact the original Service Provider of the handset to get the unlocking code. If these codes will not work, then you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a timelier manner.

Should you desire additional assistance to unlock the phone, we invite you to call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357 between the hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

Here are the options that you can use in transferring pictures from computer to the phone.

•Via PC Studio 3
•Via Windows Explorer

Please Note: The SGH-A837 (Rugby) phone includes support for Digital Rights Management (DRM) which allows you to play or view some purchased or subscription content. These copyright protections may prevent some images, videos, music (including ringtones) and other content from being played, copied, modified, transferred or forwarded.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Via PC Studio 3

WARNING: DO NOT DISCONNECT USB CABLE DURING THE FILE TRANSFER

Note: If the Bluetooth feature is currently active on the phone, USB communication between devices will not be available. To transfer files to or from the phone, turn off the Bluetooth functionality.

To transfer Picture files, using PC Studio 3 & a USB cable, to a PC follow the steps below:

1.From the standby screen, insure that the USB mode setting is set to either PC Studio or Ask on Connection

To configure the handset's USB setting follow the steps below:

- From the standby screen, press the left right key for Menu
- Select Settings (9)
- Select Set Connectivity (7)
- Choose Select USB Mode (2)
- Highlight PC Studio
- Press the left soft key for Select to save the USB Setting

2.Connect the USB cable to both the phone's Headset jack/Adapter jack & the PC's USB slot
■When successfully connected, the phone will show the connected icon on the top right of the display

3.If prompted, Select the PC Studio USB setting
4.Open the Samsung PC Studio 3 program on the PC
5.Click on Phone Explorer (Manage Files)

6.From the Phone Explorer screen, click on the Graphics folder
7.Click on the Photo file (For multiple files hold down the Ctrl key) then click on To PC
10.From the Browse for Folder screen, click on the destination location

11.Click OK to transfer the Photo file from the SGH-A837 (Rugby) phone to the PC

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. Via Windows Explorer (Mass Storage)

Note: If the Bluetooth feature is currently active on the phone, USB communication between devices will not be available. To transfer files to or from the phone, turn off the Bluetooth functionality.

Important: In order to transfer pictures (via Windows Explorer & a USB cable) to a PC the pictures MUST be located on a formatted microSD Memory Card. The microSD memory card must first be formatted, by the phone, in order for the phone to create the destination folders.

Note: The minimum size limit for the microSD memory card is 32MB. This phone does support the use of a microSDHC 8GB capacity memory card. However, for optimal performance Samsung recommends using a card no larger than 2GB.

WARNING: DO NOT DISCONNECT USB CABLE DURING THE FILE TRANSFER

To transfer Picture files, using Windows Explorer & a USB cable, to a PC follow the steps below:

1.From the standby screen, insure that the USB mode setting is set to either Mass Storage or Ask on Connection

To configure the handset's USB setting follow the steps below:
