I cannot install any game in my phone!!!!

I bought 1 year ago a phone Samsung Model SGH-A817ZKAATT with an AT&T plan, and I cannot install any game(Solitaire, etc) in my phone!!! It says the phone is not compatible with games'application! What i can do in this situation? I downloaded all the applications under samsung website related to my model!Please I need help, I cannot play any game! Thank you

Thank you for your inquiry. We understand that you can't install games on your phone, SGH-A817. We do apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused you.

The AppCenter will allow you to shop for Ringtones, Games, Applications, Videos, Color Graphics, Answer Tones, and Multimedia using the built-in browser. You can also access the MEdia Home site.

You may purchase games for your phone by following the steps provided below:

1. Touch Menu > AppCenter > Categories > Games. A list of Top Tones is displayed.
2. Touch Top Games, New Arrivals, What’s Hot, or All. A list of games displays showing the game title, the
company that makes the game, and the price.
3. To purchase a game, touch an item and use the on-screen options.

The Games menu option will also allow you to access games that are on the phone and also shop for games using AppCenter. You can download new games and then save them to the Games folder.

1. Touch Menu > Games > Shop Games to launch AppCenter.
2. Follow the on-screen options. The file is downloaded and stored in the Games folder.

Note: Service charges and subscription purchase may be required.

PIN OR RESET

I BOUGHT THIS PHONE USED ON EBAY, TO LAST ME TIL IT WAS TIME TO GET A NEW PHONE SINCE MY FAIRLY NEW, EXPENSIVE SAMSUNG CAPTIVATE POOPED OUT ON ME- THE CHARGE PORT JUST QUIT TAKING A CHARGE AND I REALLY COULD NOT AFFORD TO HAVE IT ALL REPLACED. ANYHOW, WHEN I BOUGHT THIS PHONE I WAS UNAWARE IT WAS PASSWORD LOCKED. THE PEOPLE THAT SOLD IT SAID THEIR CHILD USED IT LONG AGO AND NOW DO NOT REMEMBER THE PASSCODE/PIN. SINCE I AM NOT INTERESTED IN USING ANY OF THE DATA STORED IN THE PHONE IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO A HARD RESET WITHOUT THE PIN? I KNOW SOME OTHER SAMSUNG PHONES YOU CAN JUST PRESS A SERIES OF SOFT KEYS ON THE BODY OF THE PHONE. IS THIS POSSIBLE? THANKS.

Thank you for your inquiry. We understand that you would like to reset the phone, since it has a pin lock and we're sorry to hear that.

Please try to use default passcodes 0000 or 00000000.

PIN lock is the actual lock code saved on the sim card inserted in your phone, not on the phone.

For options to possibly unlock your sim card or reset your phone to unlock it, we advise you to contatc your service provider.

You may reach AT&T at 1-800-331-0500 for further assistance.

My phone was stolen so how should I report it?

I don't have the serial number, so I don't know how to report it to the police, or if they even deal with stolen cell phones. I also need to know what else I should do besides report it to AT&T.

So sorry you are experiencing this issue! Have you tried a soft reset by pulling the battery out for about 2 minutes? Also make sure you have not added any recent applications/files that may be to blame. Try removing these apps/files and clearing the cache. Why is my Message Box so small?

I have about 200 text messages in my Inbox & Sent boxes, and now it's full! On previous phones I have kept many more messages. I don't want to enable auto-delete. I have added a 1Gb SD card which is still nearly empty. How can make my message box bigger?
