Hi Conchita,

Handset sounds, such as audible message alerts and ringtones are all profile dependent. Profiles contain all the information associated with the volume settings and levels of the handset. This includes ringers, alarms, notifications, and system sounds. There are four different preloaded audio profiles that have the ability to be edited.

Note: Audio files less than 300 KB are treated as ringtones, whereas audio files which are greater than 300 KB are considered as Music. You cannot set an MP3 file as a ringtone if it is larger than 300 KB.

Tip: The music player supports the following audio file types: MP3, M4A, WMA, MP4 (AAC), 3GP (AMR), 3GP (AAC), WAV, RA (Real Audio) MIDI and AMR.
To edit a sound profiles please follow the steps below:
1. While in standby mode, press on Menu
2. Select Settings
3. Select Sound Profile
4. Press on the Sound Profile to be edited from the following: Normal

From Normal profile>press the drop down option and select > Message> message alert type choose
Melody
Increasing Melody
Vibration then Melody
Vibration & Melody
Vibe & Increasing Melody then save

Then tap on message alert tone to choose for the tone you prefer>choose the tone of your choice> Save
Then tap on message alert repetition> Once or Periodic > Save
Then tap Vibration pattern> choose which one you prefer then press on save

Hi nita0606!

Thank you for your inquiry. There's no direct way/process for you to upload photos from the phone to your Facebook account. What I can suggest would be transferring first those photos from the phone to computer and from that, you can upload those photos to your Facebook account. I have here the link for you to transfer photos between your phone and your personal computer:

Hi chloechloechloe123!

Thank you for your inquiry.

Are you referring transferring contacts saved on the phone memory to the SIM card on the Samsung Flight™ Full Qwerty Cell Phone (SGH-A797) with a broken screen?

Regarding your concern, if the touch screen of the phone is not working or broken, we could not navigate the menu of the phone to copy contacts from phone memory to SIM card. There are some menus on the procedures that you need to touch the screen to select the option.

However, you may refer on the steps below, pressing the designated numbers on the QWERTY keypad to copy contacts to SIM card.

1. From the standby screen, press the End key, and then press Menu.
2. Press Address Book (8).
3. Press SIM Management (7).
4. Press Copy Contacts to SIM (1).
5. Press each contact to check the box(es) or press All.
6. Press Copy to copy the Contact(s) to or from the SIM card.

Note: When copying a contact from a SIM card not all information may be copied.

Again, we thank you for comments and appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

Hi CFerendzo!

Thank you for your inquiry. Samsung has launched several initiatives in an effort to become an eco-friendly Company to “go green”. One such practice now in place is to eliminate the printing of hard copy User Manuals for our handsets. This is an ongoing project, and for this reason, we are no longer providing printed User Manuals upon request.

However, the user manual for your Samsung phone in PDF format is available for download from the Samsung Download Center. From the website, simply enter the model or portion of the model number or name into the product search field to take you to the user manuals available.

Should you have additional questions concerning a specific feature of your device, please contact us anytime, as we would be happy to provide additional information.

You can also contact our Customer Care Center by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.
