How do I get my mobil photos off my phone and onto my MAC computer?

I bought the USB chord online. But when I plug it into my phone and my computer, I do not see anything pop up on my computer? I have a lot of Europe pictures on my phone and need to get them onto my computer. Thank you.

Hi, you can use the mass storage capability of the phone to connect to your mac computer. You need to have a formatted memory card inserted in your phone for this process, once you have that, please follow the link below, it also includes different methods of transferring pictures.

Hi, it could be a sim lock on the phone. If that is the case you can reset the phone to its factory default settings. If that didn’t work, you may need to send the phone in to our service center for reflash.

Samsung phones are Windows compatible device that would work with Microsoft program.

We do not have any available program that would allow the connectivity of the phone with Apple or Macintosh.

The SGH-A797 (Flight) handset supports encoding GPS coordinates into photos taken using the built-in camera. This is referred to as Geo-Tagging photos and is a very new feature on some mobile phones. Popular photo sharing services, such as Flickr, can use the GPS encoded information to display the location where the photo was originally shot.

When Geo-Tagging is enabled, users will see a satellite icon in the upper left-hand corner of the camera screen. While the handset is acquiring a GPS signal the icon will be animated, showing moving bars. Once a GPS signal has been locked, the bars will remain still, with no animation then users can take pictures with embedded GPS coordinates. This process can take between 30 – 40 seconds and will need to be repeated each time the camera application is launched.

Note: Video Geo-Tagging is not available on the SGH-A797 (Flight). Although users can select “GPS” while filming video it will not show the satellite icon nor will it encode GPS coordinates into the video.

To enable the camera for GPS Geo-Tagging follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, press and Hold the Camera key, located on the lower right side, to activate the Camera
Verify the Camera icon is shown on the top left corner of the display
To switch from Camcorder mode to Camera mode press the Camcorder icon in the top left corner then press the Camera icon
Press the Camera Settings icon
Next press the Camera Settings tab
Press On to the right of GPS then press OK to enable GPS Geo-Tagging on the Camera

Note: Remember to wait for the handset to acquire a GPS signal before taking the picture

Yes, you can listen music on the phone through a bluetooth ear piece as long as it is a stereo bluetooth ear piece or headset because it has the capability to use it when listening to music and you can use it on calls as well. It is best to use the original Samsung accessories with your phone for its optimal performance.

Try doing a soft reset by turning off the phone, then remove the battery and put it back in and power on the phone again.

You can delete or remove a number from the reject list.

Here's how to delete entries from the Reject List follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, press Menu
Press Settings
Press Calls
Press General
Press Auto Reject
Press the trashcan to the right of the number to delete it
Press Save to keep the Auto Reject settings

The charging time for SGH-A797 using the travel charger is up to 3 hours, please try to charge the phone as required and observe its battery life after it.

Time:

GSM 1900 Talk Time: Up to 3 hrs
GSM 1900 Standby Time: Up to 15 days
GSM 850 Talk Time: Up to 3 hrs
GSM 850 Standby Time: Up to 15 days

Notes: Battery life durations specified on our products are tested in our labs under multiple different conditions and the talk and standby times are a realistic average maximum dependent on customer usage variables. Some variables that may affect battery life are:

Backlight settings set to always on, or a long amount of time
Ring tone settings set to higher volume settings
Vibrate settings turned on
Using Internet Services including Text Messaging
Making and/or Receiving calls in, or simply standing by in an analog service area
If you tend to be in a "weak" coverage area where your signal strength meter shows only 1 to 2 bars
Using non-SAMSUNG charging accessories can cause battery life and other issues, as well as void the manufacture's limited warranty.

If problem still persist then visit a nearby Service Provider store in your place to try another battery and charger on the phone for you to know where the problem is coming from or what's causing the issue; if it's with the battery, charger or the phone itself. Once issue was isolated, please contact Samsung Technical Support 1-888-987-4357 Direct Hotline for further assistance. You will be offered to either send the phone to Samsung Service Center to have it evaluated and repaired or it could be an accessory replacement for the battery or charger. Hi, here’s what you nedd to do to set the phone vibrate and ring at the same time when receving a text or an incoming call.
From the home screen tap menu, settings, sound profile, tap normal, tap call on the drop down located on the upper right corner of the screen, tap call alert type, tap vibration & melody and then tap save.
Then on the upper right corner of the screen tap message, tap message alert type, tap vibration & melody, tap save and then again tap save to save all the settings.

With regards to your concern, it would be best to go to any of your Service Provider store and ask assistance how to configure the proper insertion of the SIM card and to further determine whether the SIM card is the problem or phone itself.
