Hi tyger,

Thank you for your inquiry. You may use any of the listed methods below to sync your phone to a computer.

Via Samsung PC Studio: You would need to download the Samsung PC Studio from www.samsung.com Download Center.

Note: If the Bluetooth feature is currently active on the phone, USB communication between devices will not be available. To transfer files to or from the phone, turn off the Bluetooth functionality.

To enable or disable Bluetooth follow the steps below:

1. While in standby mode, press the right soft key for Menu
2. Select Settings (9)
3. Select Connectivity (6)
4. Select Bluetooth (1)
5. Select either Bluetooth: Off (1) or Bluetooth: On (1) to enable or disable Bluetooth

To transfer Picture files, using PC Studio 3 & a USB cable, to a computer follow the steps below:

1. From the standby screen, insure that the USB mode setting is set to either PC Studio or Ask on Connection

To configure the handset's USB setting follow the steps below:

1. From the standby screen, press the left right key for Menu
2. Select Settings (9)
3. Select Set Connectivity (6)
4. Choose Select USB Mode (2)
5. Highlight the desired USB Setting
6. Select PC Studio
7. Press the left soft key for Select to save the USB Setting

2. Connect the USB cable to both the phone's Headset jack/Adapter jack & the computer's USB slot
When successfully connected, the phone will show the connected icon on the top right of the display.
3. If prompted, Select the PC Studio USB setting
4. Open the Samsung PC Studio 3 program on the PC
5. Click on Phone Explorer (Manage Files)
6. From the Phone Explorer screen, click on the Graphics folder
7. Click on the Photo file (For multiple files hold down the Ctrl key) then click on To computer.
8. From the Browse for Folder screen, click on the destination location
9. Click OK to transfer the Photo file from the SGH-A767 (Propel) phone to the computer.

Via Windows Explorer (Mass Storage)

Note: If the Bluetooth feature is currently active on the phone, USB communication between devices will not be available. To transfer files to or from the phone, turn off the Bluetooth functionality.

Important: In order to transfer pictures (via Windows Explorer & a USB cable) to a PC the pictures MUST be located on a formatted microSD Memory Card. The microSD memory card must first be formatted, by the phone, in order for the phone to create the destination folders.

To copy or move pictures to a microSD memory card follow the steps below:

1. Insert a formatted microSD memory card into the memory card slot, located on the left side under the battery cover
2. From the standby screen, press the right soft key for Menu
3. Select My Stuff (7)
4. Highlight the On Phone tab, using the left or right navigation keys
5. Highlight the Graphics folder, using the navigation keys, then press the key to view the contents
6. Highlight the desired Photo, using the navigation keys
7. Press the left soft key for Options
8. Select either Move (6) or Copy (7)
9. Select either Selected (1) or Multiple (2)
10. For Multiple Images, highlight each Photo, using the navigation keys
11. Press the key to check each Photo’s box
12. Press the left soft key for either Move or Copy
13. Highlight Memory Card, using the navigation keys, then press the left soft key for Select
14. Highlight the Graphics folder, using the navigation keys
15. Press the left soft key for Options
16. Select Open (1)
17. Press the left soft key for Options
18. Select Paste or Move Here (1) to Move or Copy the Photo(s) to the microSD memory card

Note: The minimum size limit for the microSD memory card is 32MB. This phone does support the use of a microSDHC 8GB capacity memory card. However, for optimal performance Samsung recommends using a card no larger than 2GB.

To transfer Picture files, using Windows Explorer & a USB cable, to a computer follow the steps below:

1. From the standby screen, insure that the USB mode setting is set to either Mass Storage or Ask on Connection.
2. Connect the USB cable to both the phone's Headset jack/Adapter jack & the computer's USB slot.
When successfully connected, the phone will show the connected icon on the top right of the display.
3. If prompted, Select the Mass Storage USB setting
4. Select "Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" on the new Removable Disk screen
5. Navigate to the picture location, inside the Graphics folder.

The phone has already a Bluetooth Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) so that Bluetooth Carkit device can access the phone's contact information. However, this option should be done on the Bluetooth Carkit and we don't have information on the device. Hi BreathlessFlame,

Thank you for your correspondence.

Most issues like this may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the handset, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged.

At your earliest convenience, please call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

Our repair facility will have the phone roughly 5-10 days from the time that it is received. Some dealer locations may offer a loaner phone program while your handset is in repair. While Samsung cannot control the availability of these products or programs in your area, please contact your local provider or dealer if you are in need of a phone, to find out if they are a participating member of this program. If you have any questions regarding this process, please ask the Service Representative at the time of your call.

Additionally, if your device is in warranty or you have insurance through your service provider, some providers do offer a replacement policy on phones which need servicing. In some cases, they may send out a replacement phone and the phone that you are having issues with will be sent back to them in return. For more details on a possible exchange, please contact your Service Provider.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this presents.

Hi angellove116!

Thank you for taking the time to inform us of the issue concerning your Samsung product.

Regarding about the touch screen that was not working, most issues may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup warranty service for your phone, if it is determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone.

If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the phone has failed, our Repair Administrators create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the Phone. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and that the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, it will be repair under warranty.

For troubleshooting and questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

A Customer Service Representative will be able to assist you between the hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time. The defective product will need to be sent to our repair center and a Proof of Purchase is required. The Repair Administrator will assign RMA # for the repair that will need to be written under our address on the outside of the package being sent. The phone will be tested and inspected for quality assurance while in our facilities.

Again, we thank you for comments and appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

Hi Rick95757,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Regarding your concern, SGH-A767 (Propel) handset does not have a configurable POP3 or IMAP4 application. Email application supported by the handset would only be limited via AT&T’s services.

Via AT&T’s services there is a downloadable Mobile Email feature, located in the messaging menu. This application provides, with certain e-mail services, the opportunity to receive "new mail" alerts with shortcut access to your inbox to read, delete, and respond to your e-mail as if you were on a PC.

For assistance with the use of AT&T Mobile Email services please contact your service provider.

Hi parkerfilms,

Thank you for your correspondence.

You can connect the SGH-A767 (Propel) phone to a computer and transfer files using the Samsung PC Studio 3. Once the software is installed on your computer, launch PC Studio 3, and you will see "Not Connected" in the bottom right corner. Plug the USB cable into both the phone & the computer, if the "Select USB Mode" box pops up on the phone display, select PC Studio. When successfully connected, the phone will show the connected icon on the top right of the display. PC Studio 3 will now display "SGH-A767 (Propel) Connected" in the bottom right corner.

If this does not work, you can try doing a soft reset by turning off the phone, then remove the battery and put it back in and power on the phone again. You can also uninstall the Samsung PC Studio 3 and reinstall it again on your computer. You can download the software from the link below.
