The defective product will need to be sent to our repair center. The Repair Administrator will assign an RMA # for the repair that will need to be written under our address on the outside of the package being sent. Question

How do I connect my SGH A767 to my PC so I can upload my photographs?

I've tried using the Samsung PC Studio, downloading the USB drivers that Microsoft found for it, using a USB cord. For some reason, the computer can't sense the connection to my phone. Even when I try to use the connection utility, it can't sense the phone though I set the phone to connect with PC Studio. I tried using the phone in mass memory mode, but it still wants a micro SD card. The USB drivers don't seem to be working at all. I'm using Windows7.

The software compatible for you to connect the phone to the computer is the PC Studio 3.2. This software would only be compatible with Windows 2000, XP and Vista 32 bit only.

As of the moment, we do not have any software available that would allow the phone to connect with Windows 7.

Is the phone displaying the message "Phone Lock Enter Password"? Would you like to use the phone for a different service provider?

If the phone is asking for a pass code, you can use the default pass code for the phone which is "0000" or "00000000".

There is no way that we can retrieve the pass code that was set on the phone. If the default pass code did not work then we can do a reset on the phone.

If you want to unlock the phone and use it for a different network, you need to request the NCK (Network Control Key) from your service provider. Once you have the NCK, please call us back and provide the NCK so we can walk you through on how to unlock your phone.

Please note: Unlocking of the phone, although at the discretion of the service provider is possible, will void all Samsung warranties for support or service. Features that are available on the intended network may not be accessible on the alternate network. Features on the alternate network may not be available this phone as these features are not those of the network on which the phone was intended to be used, and therefore, are not programmed.

The phone has already a Bluetooth Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) so that Bluetooth Carkit device can access the phone's contact information. However, this option should be done on the Bluetooth Carkit and we don't have information on the device. You may have to contact the manufacturer of the device for further assistance of accessing phone’s contact of the handset.

Hi!

There is no configurable option to set an auto- answer on the phone.
However, you can set the Call Answer option by going to call settings.

Call Answer: allows you to select how your phone answers incoming calls.

Use the Up or Down Navigation key to highlight your selection. Press the
Options soft key, then the Select soft key to save your new selection.
Options include:

– Send Key: allows you to answer an incoming call by pressing either
the Accept soft key or the key.

– Open Slide: allows you to answer an incoming call by sliding the
device into the open position.

– Any Key: allows you to answer an incoming call by pressing any key
on your phone.

Regarding about the touch screen that was not working, most issues may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup warranty service for your phone, if it is determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone.

If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the phone has failed, our Repair Administrators create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the Phone. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and that the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, it will be repair under warranty.

For troubleshooting and questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

We can do minimal troubleshooting to your phone. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the product, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone.
