Thank you for your inquiry. Due to Samsung's policy with repairs, any damage encountered to the phone through water or other liquids can and in most cases will cause corrosion to the inner workings of the handset. In these circumstances, it is no longer feasible to attempt to repair the phone; consequently, the phones received in this condition into our North Texas repair facilities are shipped back to the customer un-repaired. If you have insurance through your service provider please contact them for a possible replacement phone. Also, if you purchased the phone with a credit card most companies offer buyers protection. Contact your Credit Card Company to inquire about this program.

Is there a way to SELECT ALL to transfer everything in Address Book to SIM card without moving one at a time?

I thought everything was saved to SIM but I am missing some contacts. My screen has malfunctioned and I need to move all my contacts to SIM card to use in my other old Samsung phone - same model. Phone still functions but am unable to see. I can use other old phone to help walk through steps if necessary.

Hi Eddward!

Thank you for your correspondence. You may try Auto Reject option which allows you to enable a phone feature that allows you to automatically reject calls from a list of contacts. Use the Left or Right Navigation key to toggle the activation of this feature. Select Auto Reject List and press the key to access the list of rejected numbers. Press the key to select an entry from the list of press the Create soft key to create a new phone entry. Press the OK soft key or the key to make your selection. Press the
Save soft key to save your new selection.

Note: To reject an incoming call, press and hold the Volume keys on the left side of the phone before opening the phone. A quick press of side volume key silences the ringer on an incoming call.

Hi there!

To transfer or copy a contact, from the phone memory, to the SIM card follow the steps below:

While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Menu
Select Address Book
Highlight the desired contact entry, stored in your phone's memory, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Options
Select Copy to SIM (12)
Select either Selected (1) or Multiple (2)

Note: Each phone number for a contact must be individually saved to the SIM card

A Customer Service Representative will be able to assist you between the hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time. The phone will need to be sent to our repair center. The Repair Administrator will assign RMA # for the repair that will need to be written under our address on the outside of the package being sent. But the software for this phone not support the by Windows 7. This is compatible only for Windows Vista and XP.

If this upgrade came from your service provider via OTA (Over The Air), try to do a soft reset on the phone just by taking off the battery and putting it back. Turn the phone on for a powercycle. Make sure that the phone has a full charge. Your phone must also have a strong signal with the network for the upgrade.

Note: Samsung has not released any update for this phone model.

I am in Malawi right now, and I put a Malawian SIM card in my phone, and then this came up. I later tried to put my old SIM card in, but it still wouldn't let me use it. Also, when I try to do a SOS call, it won't let me because it tells me it isn't allowed. What do I do?
