Question

Cookies and desktop icons

I was forced to get the eternity II because I lost my sosltice, which I loved! Now I am stuck with this awful phone that has terribly slow internet, the texting sensitivity is too slow, the website pages are tiny print, (i know how to enlarge via touchscreen but it's annoying) and now I cant access the web pages I used to on my solstice because I have to "enable cookies", which is set to "accept all", and the TV icon is stuck on the top of my desktop, petty but annoying. Am I stuck w/this awful service or is there something I can do to fix these problems. It's only been 2 days and already I hate it.

After receiving you wireless device, install the sim card on the phone and make sure that it has been charged for at least 8 hours.

After the sim card was installed correctly and the device is fully charged, turn the device on and place a test call. If you are able to make and receive calls on the phone, your device is already activated but if you are unable to make calls even if you have an acceptable signal to place and receive a call then you would need to contact your service provider to have them activate your account

Thank you for your inquiry. As I have checked here with my resources, there are no configurable options to change the background color when texting people. I would like to advise you to download “THEMES” to your phone for you to be able to change the background text color but I cannot guarantee you about that because that would still depends on the “THEMES” you downloaded.

Thank you for your inquiry.

There are three options on how you can transfer pictures from phone to computer.

- Via Windows Explorer
- Via Memory Card
- Via Bluetooth

Please Note: The SGH-A597 (Eternity II) phone includes support for Digital Rights Management (DRM) which allows you to play or view some purchased or subscription content. These copyright protections may prevent some images, videos, music (including ringtones) and other content from being copied, modified, transferred or forwarded.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Via Windows Explorer (Mass Storage)

Note: If the Bluetooth feature is currently active on the phone, USB communication between devices will not be available. To transfer files to or from the phone, turn off the Bluetooth functionality or click here for instructions.

WARNING: DO NOT DISCONNECT USB DATA CABLE DURING THE FILE TRANSFER

Important: In order to transfer pictures (via Windows Explorer & a USB cable) to a PC the pictures MUST be located on a formatted microSD Memory Card. The microSD memory card must first be formatted, by the phone, in order for the handset to create the destination folders.

To transfer Picture/Video files, using Windows Explorer & a USB cable, between the phone and a PC follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, insure that the USB mode setting is set to either Mass Storage or Ask on Connection
Connect the USB cable to both the phone's Power/Accessory Interface connector & the PC's USB slot
When successfully connected, the phone will show the connected icon on the top of the display
If prompted, Select the Mass Storage USB setting
If prompted, click "Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" on the new Removable Disk screen or open Windows Explorer manually

Navigate to the picture/video file location on the memory card or PC
Drag n Drop or copy & paste the picture/video file into the desired destination on the PC or the Pictures or Videos folders on the handset

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Via Memory Card

To transfer pictures (via a memory card) to a PC requires a microSD Memory Card, Memory Card Adaptor & Memory Card Reader. The microSD memory card MUST first be formatted, by the phone, in order for the phone to create the destination folders. Please note that the minimum size limit for the microSD memory card is 32MB.

To transfer pictures (via a memory card), from the SGH-A597 (Eternity II) phone, to a PC follow the steps below:

Insert the formatted microSD memory card into the memory card slot, located under the battery cover

When correctly inserted, the memory card icon is displayed

Press Manage
Press either Move or Copy
Press each image to check their box or press All to check All boxes
Press either Move or Copy
Press Memory Card

Hello quadrider2594853!

I have here the information on how to set up the phone for transferring files to computer. We need to configure the phone's connectivity.

Note: The Bluetooth feature must first be disabled before initiating a USB
connection with the phone. Prior to connecting the USB cable to the
phone, install the latest version of the PC Studio application. This
application installs the necessary USB drivers onto your computer.

1. From Idle mode, touch Settings>Connectivity >Select USB Mode.

2. Select one of the following USB modes:

• Mass Storage: allows you to utilize the onboard storage capacity of
the phone’s microSD card to store and upload files. This option
allows your computer to detect the phone’s microSD card as a
removable storage drive.

3. Touch SAVE

***And from that, connect your phone to your computer. Just drag and drop the files from your phone to computer or from your computer to your phone.
