In the words of the office manager "we have dark lines through our copies...we have tried to clean it ourselves but we are not sure if we are to call someone for service??? This is a really new unit...not sure why doing this already?? Black spots, and shadows coming through- smearing." Can you help? when i use scanimage -L it returns: device `smfp:SAMSUNG SCX-5635 on 192.168.10.18' is a SAMSUNG SCX-5635 on 192.168.10.18 Flatbed Scanner but when i run scanimage -d smfp:SAMSUNG SCX-5635 on 192.168.10.18 it returns: scanimage: open of device smfp:SAMSUNG failed: Invalid argument could you help me?
No Fcsimile Printer after installing Smart Thru Version 2.07
I made an Update of the Smart Thru Software from 2.01 to Version 2.07. After installing the new Software package there was no Facsimile Printer anymore like it was with Version 2.01. I tried to deinstall and overinstall the older Version just with the same problem: No Facsimle Option anymore. Any ideas?
the device is installed and working in a USB connection on a WinXP machine. after sharing it on the Primary computer i am trying to install it on a different WinXP machine in the network (via the shared printers on the Primary machine) The new Universal driver program cannot find network shared printers... Only Local (via USB) or Networked (via IP). My device is shared through an XP machine...
