why does my printer network fail to see the copmuter after power failure?

Each time our office experiences power failure we must re-install the printing cd driver or sometimes search for the printer . This occurs most of the time on all computers and seldom on my computer.

anyone have a fix?

2x computers on windows 7
1x on xp

Question

We use the Samsung SCX-5639FR as a fax machine and it is terrific. The problem is that the unit defaults to the copy mode.

We want the machine to default to the fax mode. That will save us a pick (and time) every time we send a fax. We send alot. This is important. Please help! Thank you!

Legal scan documents saving as letter size and cutting off bottom. how to fix?

I'm trying to figure out why legal scans get cut off when I save them (pdf format) - I see the scan preview works fine - its legal and not cut off but when i save it (and choose to save as pdf in legal size) it cuts off and makes it letter size. please help> thanks!

Question

Add DDR2 SODIMM to printer and printer does not power up.

We added a Samsung DDR2 SODIMM memory module to the printer. Once the cord is plugged in and the power switch flipped on, the printer does not power up. If we remove the SODIMM memory module, the printer does power up.
