I scan my documents with SmarThru 4. I want to scan documents without SmarThru 4 but it is impossible for me in Win7 64bit, using especially Acrobat.

CAN I SCAN TO FOLDER? PORT IS DISABLED ERROR
HAVE SAMSUNG SCX 4100 AND AM NOT ABLE TO SCAN. PRINTER WORKS FINE BUT WHEN I TRY TO SCAN TO FOLDER I GET ERROR MESSAGE SAYING PORT IS DISABLED. HAVE DOWNLOADED DRIVERS BUT NOT HELP. PRINTER IS ON LPT 1 PORT. HOW CAN IF FIX THIS SO I CAN SCAN?
Which of the print drivers for Win 7 64-bit is best for SCX-4100?
I see 3 separate drivers that are intended to work with Windows 7 x64. I have tried all and cannot print using a TCP/IP port. Printer responds, warms up but will not print the document. XP machines can print to the same printer on the port. Also the correct print processor is not explained.

I have a Samsung SCX-4100 Multifunction Laser Printer and I use Win 7 Ultimate 64bit. I have set up Printer Driver - v 3.01, Scan Driver - v 2.02.17 and SmarThru 4 - v 4.04.17 for Win 7 64bit. I have a trouble: I dont scan a document using the twain driver, launching MSPAINT go to File > From Scanner or Camera, as well as Acrobat X. I think there are some problem in your Scan Driver and or printer driver for Win 7. Can you help me as soon as possible. Thank you...
How do I increase the size of the SmartThru panel window?
When I right click on the top of the panel screen for " Maximize", there is no change in the size of the window. The operating system is Windows 7. The window screen is too small to pick different options for the scanning function. See attached picture.
I have installed the printer, and it works fine. I installed the scanner, and when I click "Scan to", and then choose "Application" or "Folder", etc., a message pops up from SmarThru saying "Cannot open device: 'Samsung SCX-4100 Series'". How do I fix that?
My SCX-4100 cannot seem to be recognized by my computer.
I have been using this printer for many years and this problem occurred sporadically. Now it seems to be permanent. I have downloaded all the latest drivers but when they install, they tell me the printer is not connected when it is. I have tried replacing the printer cable, but that doesn't help either. When I plug the printer into the USB port, the computer does not recognize the device. HELP!!!
