Question

Good Day: I have your Verizon Extender for my cell phones. Works great around the house but will not work in my metal clad shop about 100 foot away.

Is there a repeater or some device that I could put in the line of site windows that would work. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Question

I have a Samsung cell phone signal extender that will work for 2 or 3 weeks just fine.

After that period, it seems to lose a signal or something, and the "sys" light turns from blue to a blinking red. After I unplug it for 10 min. or so, then plug it back in, it will start to work fine for another 2 or 3 weeks. Why is this happening?

need cables for the GPS

Verizon is not able to get the small cable that attaches the Network Extander to the GPS unit...and I need 2 of them. Any way of getting this cable from some place else ??? I have a Samsung Unit with a SKU Number of SCS-26UC4.

Extra Cable for Network Extender

I have a Samsung network extender that I got from Verizon. I need to use the external antenna given where I need the device to go but the cable that comes with it is not long enough to get the antenna to a window. Is it possible to get a longer cable or perhaps an additional cable so that I can get the antenna where it needs to be?

Question

Why does the network extender cause my phone location to be off by over 50 miles.

Verizon sent a replacement network extender and all of the phones in my house are still reporting the wrong location. When I reboot the extender my phone reports the correct location for approximately 20 minutes and then the location becomes skewed. I live in Alexandria VA and my phone says I'm in Annapolis MD. If I power down the network extender my phone has the correct location. My phone is a Droid Incredible 2.

Sure. All you have to do is purchase a long network cable and just move your unit to a central location in your house. That's exactly what I did about a week ago and moved it without any problem. Just make sure you have a power outlet wherever you want to place it.

Can this unit work with MetroPCS Indulge

This unit is labeled as for Verizon, but since MetroPCS also uses CDMA and I have just bought your Indulge phone from them , would this help boost the signal in my home - I see it is labeled for Verizon , butht ehtext says works with Sprint? How about MetroPCS, or is there another unit that would help fringe reception?

Question

SCS-2U01: What are the colors of the indicator lights when everything is working properly?

I received an SCS-2U01 Network Extender as a gift. Unfortunately, there was no User Manual in the box. It is supposed to be a "plug-and-play" unit and was simple to install, except I am not getting a signal boost. I am trying to determine the issue. Can anyone help?

The unit is sitting on a window sill right in front of the window
Power light is "Blue"
Sys light is mostly "Red", occasionally turns "Purple" (other devices connected to same router have strong broadband - 100Mbps - signals). I get the same result whether using the 3G unit or the 3G Antennae.
GPS light is "Purple"
WAN light is "Red" or "Purple" (when Sys light is "Purple")

Hi. I’m so sorry to hear for what happened with your Verizon Network Extender, you got a broken antenna and trying to obtain a new one. Well, about the broken antenna, to get a new one, you may need to call or go to Verizon on that. With this type of concern Verizon is the one who handles and deals with the Network Extender. And I believe to get a new antenna, you may need to order and pay for it.
