Thank you for your inquiry. We understand that you would like to know if you can change the number of rings on your phone when someone calls you.

Configuring the number of rings for example before going to the voice mail is something which is configured by the Service Provider by editing your account with them. This is not a setting which can be configured on the phone itself as it is part of the network services by your provider. To adjust the Ring Count, we recommend contacting the Service Provider for assistance with this issue.

What do I do if my phone locks up?

My phone locked up during a software update, and now the only thing I can get to come up on my screen, after hitting 9 + END, is a black screen that says "USB Download Mode." My computer won't even recognize it any longer as an active device, so I can't even get it to run the software update. It is just stuck on this screen. What do I do?

Please try to do a soft reset to check if it would work.
Soft Reset: Turn of the phone. Remove and put back the battery for at least 10-15 seconds and check if it would work.

Question

Why won't my phone charge/get to start up menu?

Last night I was in the middle of texting a friend and I went to sit my phone down. Once I did so, it shut off. I went to turn it back on and the white verizon wireless startup screen came up, but then on the upper righthand corner of the same screen, a white bar popped up that says "*012345. . . . . . . . . . . " now my phone will not turn on without it being plugged in, and once it is plugged in and i start it up, it freezes at the same screen. doesn't even make it to the home menu screen. stuck on verizon wireless with the white bar in the corner w/numbers. tried taking the battery out, doesn't do anything. also when i connect it to a computer, the computer wont recognize it now... so since i canntot get to the menu screen, i cannot reset it! please help!

Question

My phone displays the wrong time (I live near a time zone line)

My phone just recently started displaying the incorrect time. About 75% of the time it displays Central time, when it should be displaying Eastern time. I live about 5 miles away from the Central timezone. This is incredibly frustrating as I don't wear a watch and use the phone to know the time and I use my phone as an alarm clock. I currently have it set up so it displays two clocks, the other being Detroit time, but that doesn't change the part where my alarm goes off an hour late. Is there any way to tell my phone to stay in the Eastern Time zone?

Question

screen is stuck in horizontal position

The screen is stuck in the horiontal position (like if I am trying to use the keyboard). Because of this it is also stuck in speakerphone mode (unless using a bluetooth.)

Spinning\turning the phone doesn't set it to verical position.

Everything else seems to work ok.

It has been like this a couple days. I tried taking the battery out and that didn't correct the issue.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

Question

My phones sound wont work. How do i fix it?

I have the samsunge reality. My phone will ring when someone call and my alarm will work. But i cant hear people on the phone and they can not hear me, you cant hear my sounds and videos.

Hi! Thanks for your question. I suggest performing a soft reset. To perform a soft reset, please power off the device and pull/replace the battery after 2-3 minutes before powering back on.
