I was told by my verizon store to see if you would send out a back for my phone. (

Mine dropped from the top bleacher at a high school homecoming football game....phone still works but the back popped off and was never found.

Question

Is there a way to fix my phone?

So I have the Samsung Reality from Verizon. I bought it July 22, 2010 under the 2 year contract. And this is the 2nd time within the 2 year time period that my phone won't charge. Last time I visited the Verizon Wireless store to see if they could help, and they just sent me another phone of the same brand and model. And its only been a few months since then, and my phone wont charge unless you move the charger around... I was just wondering if its fixable? Or if I'm able to get a new phone of the same kind? Or get my upgrade before the 2 year plan is over. Please respond back as soon as you can. Thank you very much!

You can use the Mass Storage feature to transfer media files from the phone to a PC. Just follow the steps below!

Connecting and configuring the Mass Storage:

1. Connect the USB data cable to both the PC and handset
2. From the home screen, press Menu
3. Press Settings & Tools
4. Press Tools
5. Scroll down then press USB Mass Storage
6. The display will now show "Connected to the PC..." Calls Disabled"
7. The PC will now show a new removable disk in Windows Explorer
8. Select the desired action (such as Open folder to view/copy files) and click OK
9. After copying selected files from the PC to the microSD card, inserted in the phone, touch DISCONNECT on the phone to restore phone service then touch Yes to confirm

Question

how can I synch my windows media player playlist onto SDmicrocard in my samsung reality?

I have synched using windows media player directly to the card and then transferring the card to the phone. That shows I have no data in the "My Music" folder and asks if I want to download from VCAST.
I have also connected my phone to the laptop and after succesfully downloading drivers and recognizing it on the device media application, it will not recognize the device in windows media player so that I can synch to my directly to my device.
I would like to drag every song to the card and try it that way and see if that works. What is the preferred method

Hi there,

In order to use the Sync Music option, the PC must be loaded with Windows Media Player 10 or higher. To download Windows Media Player 10 or higher visit the following website: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/.

To sync MP3 files from Windows Media Player to the phone memory or memory card follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, insure that the USB mode setting is set to either Media Sync Mode or Ask on Plug.
Connect the USB cable to both the phone's Power/Accessory Interface connector & the PC's USB slot
If prompted, select Media Sync Mode
Open Windows Media Player 10 or higher then click on the Sync tab
From the Windows Media Player application Sync tab, ensure that the SCH-U820 device displays in the upper-right corner of the screen. If not, click on Next device until the SCH-U820 appears.
Click on the Library plus sign (+) then click on Songs to display a list
Drag or Add the MP3 file(s) from the library to the Sync List or playlist
Select Start Sync to transfer the MP3 file(s) to the handset memory or memory card
After the file transfer is completed it will be safe to remove the USB data cable from both the handset & PC

WARNING: DO NOT DISCONNECT USB CABLE DURING THE FILE TRANSFER.

With music you have two methods that you can try.

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

Question

My phone powers on, when it is off

My phone powers on, when it is turned off, when I plug the charging cable into the phone. Once it is plugged in, it boots up and remains on, even when I try to turn it off, it boots up again. The phone does not have any damage or water damage, I take very good care of my things. No damage and it has the latest upgrade software. I have read that many owners of this phone have the same issue and problems. Any solution? New up grades??

Reality - not connecting to computer

I want to download pics from my phone to my computer without a memory card (I don't have one). My computer won't even recognize my phone, let alone download the pics. Question

number of rings

I have rollover from my home phone and when it rolls over to my cell it only rings less that 5 times and I usually don't have time to answer before it goes to voice mail. Would like to increase rings to at least 7 rings

Why does my phone restart when I load facebook?

Started occurring without any change in daily use. Phone frequently accesses Facebook and YouTube but that is all in addition to normal calls and texts.
