To turn off Text Message Readout:

From the home screen, go to Settings & Tools > Go to Phone Settings > Voice Command Settings > Text Message Readout > Options > Off.

troubles with my voicemail

I have a Samsung u820 and I have some troubles with my voicemail. When I try to listen my messages (*86) or I do not answer my phone is redirected to another phone (friend's phone). I think that I made a mistake when I dialed *86 plus my friend's phone. My question is How can I fix that?. Thank you.

Why is my phone freezing up?

I have a samsung reality for about a year now and its freezing up and the battery gets hot. Plus i can't get the back off to remove the battery from the device.

Thats usually a sign of your battery going bad. I would purchase a new battery for the phone and try to get the battery cover off so you can switch the batteries.

when turning on my samsung SCHU-U820 (or reality) it pops up a blackscreen that says USB download mode how do i fix this?

it also says bootblock version: ver u620:dg03.10 i just need to turn it on to its regular mode.

Select "USB connected", another window appears, select "Mount". You should now be able to view, move, access files on your device and pc.

Question

When I sync my phone with VW bluetooth phone shuts down.

It appears that the phone is trying to transfer phone book but is not successful. The reality then shuts down and restarts. The sync never completes. VW says they have tested firmware version u820.DG0. I have u820.DK17. Can I change?

Thanks for reaching out! Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and that the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, it will be repaired under warranty.

For troubleshooting and questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

A Customer Service Representative will be able to assist you between the hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time. The phone will need to be sent to our repair center. The Repair Administrator will assign RMA # for the repair that will need to be written under our address on the outside of the package being sent. The phone will be tested and inspected for quality assurance while in our facilities.
