Question

how can I synch my windows media player playlist onto SDmicrocard in my samsung reality?

I have synched using windows media player directly to the card and then transferring the card to the phone. That shows I have no data in the "My Music" folder and asks if I want to download from VCAST.
I have also connected my phone to the laptop and after succesfully downloading drivers and recognizing it on the device media application, it will not recognize the device in windows media player so that I can synch to my directly to my device.
I would like to drag every song to the card and try it that way and see if that works. What is the preferred method

Hi there,

In order to use the Sync Music option, the PC must be loaded with Windows Media Player 10 or higher. To download Windows Media Player 10 or higher visit the following website: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/.

To sync MP3 files from Windows Media Player to the phone memory or memory card follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, insure that the USB mode setting is set to either Media Sync Mode or Ask on Plug.
Connect the USB cable to both the phone's Power/Accessory Interface connector & the PC's USB slot
If prompted, select Media Sync Mode
Open Windows Media Player 10 or higher then click on the Sync tab
From the Windows Media Player application Sync tab, ensure that the SCH-U820 device displays in the upper-right corner of the screen. If not, click on Next device until the SCH-U820 appears.
Click on the Library plus sign (+) then click on Songs to display a list
Drag or Add the MP3 file(s) from the library to the Sync List or playlist
Select Start Sync to transfer the MP3 file(s) to the handset memory or memory card
After the file transfer is completed it will be safe to remove the USB data cable from both the handset & PC

WARNING: DO NOT DISCONNECT USB CABLE DURING THE FILE TRANSFER.

With music you have two methods that you can try.

>Home Screen > Menu> Setting & Tools > Phone Settings > Security. and Input the default password for your samsung realtiy, it is default the last four digits of your telephone number. and now Touch 5 to Restore Phone. At the prompt, touch Yes to reset and restore default settings, or No to return to the Security menu.

Why won't my phone read music off of my sd card

I put music off of iTunes onto the card then put the card in my reality phone and go to music and it says i have no music on there. Its a brand new sd micro chip 16GB

number of rings

I have rollover from my home phone and when it rolls over to my cell it only rings less that 5 times and I usually don't have time to answer before it goes to voice mail. Would like to increase rings to at least 7 rings

Why does my phone restart when I load facebook?

Started occurring without any change in daily use. Phone frequently accesses Facebook and YouTube but that is all in addition to normal calls and texts.

The SCH-U820 (Reality) handset features four different methods to transfer pictures from the handset to a PC.

SCH-U820 Picture Transfer Methods:
Via Memory Card
Via Message
Via Mass Storage
Verizon Online Album

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents

Question

How come Samsung Reality signal is almost non-existant.

Previously my phone would have no problem getting signal where I live. But now after dropping my phone i get maybe 1 bar of signal at most no matter where I am at. My mom has the same exact phone but she gets 3-4 bars of signal constantly.
Is there anything that may be preventing me from getting the extra signal and if so is there a way I can fix it?

How do I store text messages on computer

I have some text messages i need to save from my ex. I know I could simply email them to myself but that doesn't save who sent it or the date/time. Is there anyway I can do this as it is eating up my memory and now I am constantly deleting texts.

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.
