How do you transfer music and ring tones to a Reality?

I tried to send files via Bluetooth and do it via USB. No luck. I am running a Mac btw. Please tell me that this thing will accept files from other devices.

Your phone is a Windows supported phone so there are no available steps for you to be able to connect it to a Mac computer.

You may try USB mass storage to connect but we cannot guarantee that it would work since these steps are for connecting your phone to a Windows supported computer.

There is no option to sync your phone with your Windows Live Account. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

How do I sync the Reality to Outlook?

I bought this unit today, every time I link it to my system running Windows 7 the device driver fails to load, but I am able to see the phone as a folder. Is there a driver for this phone for Windows 7?

There is no configurable option on the phone to sync Outlook.

We do not have any available software or driver for the SCH-U820.

You may contact your service provider regarding the software that you can use that will support syncing Outlook with the phone.

Hi there!

For you to completely close the application on the phone without seeing them on your home screen, you may click the arrow on the left side of the screen as it will bring you the widget bar (list of the shortcut icons) of the handset. Drag and drop the icon from the home screen going to the widget bar.

I read about your concern regarding will any micro sd card fits in your sch-u820. I have checked my resources & the phone itself, and seems that the sch-u820 does support the use of a micro sd card.
And so let me give you some details on how to install & what is the maximum capacity size of a micro sd card that you can insert in your phone.

microSD™ memory card of up to 16GB capacity. You can store
music or pictures you download or transfer to your phone, andInstalling the Memory Card
1. Pull the microSD card cover out and turn it to expose the
card slot.

How do I take apart the lcd portion of the phone?

I dropped my phone in water. It still works, but there is water behind the screen. I would like to disassemble that part of the phone for it to dry out. How do I take the frame off from around the lcd?

We can do minimal troubleshooting to your phone. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup a repair on the product, should it be determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone. We can repair the phone, if it is still under warranty and has not been physically damaged.

If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the handset requires service/repair, our Repair Administrators will create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the device. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, the phone will be repaired under warranty.

The phone supports Dial-Up Networking Bluetooth Profile that will allow you to use the phone as a modem to your computer or laptop.

We do not have any available software or driver for the SCH-U820.

You need to contact your service provider so you can ask for the Modem Data Plan and Modem Drivers.

How to arrange contacts?

I restored my contacts using Verizon Backup Assistant. Now many of my contacts are listed under the # category and not in the Alphabetical (A-Z) section. The Names are all capitalized and I can't tell what seperates them from the ones in that Alphabetical list. How do I get them organized?

Greetings!
To pair the SCH-U820 (Reality) handsets with your Bluetooth Device follow the steps below:
1.Place the Bluetooth device in discoverable mode
2.From the home screen, touch Menu
3.Touch Settings & Tools
4.Touch Bluetooth Menu (3)
5.Touch Search then touch Ok to Turn On Bluetooth and begin the search for a new device
6.Touch the Bluetooth device then touch to Pair the devices
oIf auto pair is disabled, enter the Passkey (0000) then touch Done
oIf auto pair is enabled, the handset will display a brief message stating attempting to auto pair with the Bluetooth Device Name.
7.Touch Yes at the “Connect to (Bluetooth Device Name)?” prompt
8.You will get a brief message stating connecting with the Bluetooth Device
9.After being successfully connected the handset will return to the "Bluetooth Menu" screen

Note: When successfully paired, the Bluetooth connected icon will appear on the top line of the display.

how to show widget bar on 1 wallpaper only

had widget bar on home screen 1 but not on 2 & 3 when i slide. i cannot repeat this setup after i did something. but i liked it that way only showing on 1 screen when changing home screens

Regarding this, you may move the music player icon into the widget bar, follow the steps below:

From the standby screen, tap the arrow located on the lower left side of the screen to open the Widget tab
Once the Widget Tab is open, tap and drag the music player icon into the Widget Tab

You should not detach the front face plate of your handset. If you do that, you will damaged the entire screen of the phone.

How do i connect my phone to the PC via USB cable

Ok so I've been trying to figure this out for hours now, thankfully I've had nothing else better to do all day. But tomorrow is a new day and I have stuff to do, so I would like to resolve this issue sometime soon.I do not have a SD memory card and have had previous success viewing the files on my phone via bluetooth. I installed some sort of USB driver created for the Samsung U820 yet that has not solved anything. When I connect the phone to PC the phone prompts to pick either MTP or Modem; When I pick MTP the screen says "Connect to the PC" but it never does. This is ghey I want to throw this phone off the GWB, but it's too far of a walk, so I'll stick with it.

Hi there!

Apparently, we do not have any available software nor drivers that you would be needing for you to connect the phone to the computer.

If you are going to transfer pictures, you may do mass storage so you could transfer them to the computer. For you to connect the phone to the computer, it would require you to have the memory card inside the phone and a data cable that is part of your standard box contents.

If the microSD memory card came from another phone and you could not saved any files on it. Try to format the microSD memory card using your phone so that the phone will recognize the microSD memory card inserted in it.

To format a memory card follow the steps below:
Note: This action will erase the SD card in the phone. You will lose all data on the card.
1. Insert a memory card into the memory card slot.
2. From the standby screen, press Menu.
3. Press Settings & Tools.
4. Scroll down then press Memory.
5. Press Card Memory.
6. Scroll down then press Format Card.
7. Press Yes to confirm Formatting the Memory Card.
Caution: Do not repeatedly format a Memory Card as this shortens its service life.

Connecting the phone to your Computer:
1. Connect the USB data cable to both the PC and handset.
2. From the home screen, press Menu.
3. Press Settings & Tools.
4. Press Tools.
5. Scroll down then press USB Mass Storage.
6. The display will now show "Connected to the PC..." Calls Disabled".
7. The PC will now show a new removable disk in Windows Explorer.
8. Select the desired action (such as Open folder to view/copy files) and click OK.
9. After copying selected files from the PC to the microSD card, inserted in the phone, touch DISCONNECT on the phone to restore phone service then touch Yes to confirm.

While on call all you need to do is press the side lock button during the call and on your screen it will show you the dialer all you need to is to tap on the dialer so you can use it.

Why won't my battery hold its charge?

My Samsung Reality's battery has been great up until the passed few days. I only ever had to charge my phone maybe every two days. The battery life on it has been great up untill two days ago and it is now not holding a charge. I've charged it this afternoon, this morning, last night, yesterday morning, and the night before last. I don't know if it's the battery or the phone and I'm not sure if I need a new battery or not. I am not using it any more during the day than I usually do. I haven't been doing anything differently with it. Please help! Thankyou

With regards to your concern, try to use a different battery on the phone to isolate the issue. It might be a software problem or the battery itself. You can also go to any of your Service Provider store so they can test the battery for you.
