Thank you for your inquiry. For the instrictions on how to transfer pictures and videos from phone to computer please follow the steps below:

The easiest way is to use the USB Mass Storage feature.

1. Connect the USB data cable to both the PC and handset
2. From the home screen, press Menu
3. Press Settings & Tools
4. Press Tools
5. Scroll down then press USB Mass Storage
6. The display will now show "Connected to the PC..." Calls Disabled"
7. The PC will now show a new removable disk in Windows Explorer
8. Select the desired action (such as Open folder to view/copy files) and click OK
9. After copying selected files from the PC to the microSD card, inserted in the phone, touch DISCONNECT on the phone to restore phone service then touch Yes to confirm.

Regarding about your concern about Samsung Reality™ Touchscreen Cell Phone (SCH-U820), most issues may be resolved with minimal troubleshooting. Once troubleshooting has been done to the point of actual failure, we can setup warranty service for your phone, if it is determined the problem cannot be resolved over the phone.

If it is deemed, after troubleshooting, that the phone has failed, our Repair Administrators create a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) for the Phone. Provided there is no physical damage to the phone and that the failure is not due to any type of liquid damage, it will be repair under warranty.

For troubleshooting and questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

A Customer Service Representative will be able to assist you between the hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time. The defective product will need to be sent to our repair center and a Proof of Purchase is required. The Repair Administrator will assign RMA # for the repair that will need to be written under our address on the outside of the package being sent. The phone will be tested and inspected for quality assurance while in our facilities.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this presents.

Question

Security Code

At some point I somehow set my security code to a random number, thankfully it is turned off but now I wish to use the security function so no one else can use my phone without my permission. My only problem is that in order to turn on the security setting I need to enter my 4 digit security code which I do not know. Is there a way to reset the security function of my phone? I would even be willing to reset the entire phone if possible but was hoping I would be able to do so without having to go to my provider store.

1. From a Home screen, touch Menu and then select Settings & Tools.
2. Select Sound Settings and then choose Alert Sounds.
3. Select “TXT Message” to choose a Tone, Vibrate setting, and Reminder options for incoming text messages.

Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can do to connect your phone
with your computer.

1. Reboot your computer by powering it off and unplugg the power cable and wait for atleast 30 minutes before powering on the computer again.

2. Use a different USB port.

3. Update the driver on your computer.

Here's how:

- Click on START.
- Click on RUN and type in "devmgmt.msc" and hit OK.
- The Device Manager box will appear. Highlight the red marked drivers from the Universal Serial Bus Controllers and right click then click on "Properties".
- Go to the "Driver" tab and press "UPDATE DRIVER".

If it didn't work, please call the Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m to 6 pm. Saturday CST for further assistance in troubleshooting and questions.

Inbox full on cell phone?

On my Samsung Reality phone, i only have about 25 text messages in my inbox, and my phone is saying my memory is full and I can't recieve anymore messages. Yet, I keep getting texts. What is happening. This is the second time this has happened.

Question

How can I stop my phone from beeping when it loses power?

If I turn all sounds off, the phone will still beep when losing power. Also, if I turn my phone completely off it will still turn itself back on to beep and die before being recharged. This is incredibally unfortunate especially for business. How can I prevent the phone from doing these things?

Thank you for your inquiry. The beep sound is indicating that your phone loses power and it is a warning tone that letting you know that your phone has a low battery and you need to charge it.

There are no configurable options to chnage that warning tone setting on the phone.
