Hi there!

Thank you for your inquiry.

One of the reason is a change on the camera settings of the phone that is not compatible for taking picture of the Samsung Convoy. However, for this concern, you may try doing the soft reset on the phone by taking out the battery for at least 10-15 seconds and then put the battery back in and evaluate it. If it's still not working and still doing the same thing, you may call the Samsung Customer Support Center, as they can help you troubleshoot this issue in a more timely manner than we could through this forum.

Question

Calendar

I really hate the calendar on the Convoy SCH-U640EKAVZW and probably wouldn't have bought this phone if I had known you couldn't set the calendar events for 1-x number of days, weeks, months. I use my calendar more than I use the phone for calls and I'm stuck with it for 2 years. Blah! I also don't like that I can't set the tone for all the events rather than having to do each one individually. I think the phone would be fine except for the most important thing I use. If there is anyway I can change the calendar, please let me know. Thank you for your help.

Hi saynergirl!

Thank you for your correspondence.

Upon checking the specifications and settings on the Samsung Convoy™ Cell Phone (SCH-U640), to set the voice call volume, press the volume keys to adjust the level.

Regarding your concern about adjusting the voice call every time you received incoming calls even if you already adjust the volume level, we recommend having a soft reset on the device. Soft reset is removing the battery for about a minute on your phone and putting it back just for you to refresh the settings on the handset.

Should this troubleshooting step did not work; we invite to contact our Customer Support Center as they can troubleshoot this issue in a timelier manner than we could through forum correspondence.

At your earliest convenience, please call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

Again, we thank you for comments and appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

Hi Edge,

Thank you for your inquiry. Configuring the number of rings before a call goes to voicemail is something which is configured by the Service Provider by editing your account with them. This is not a setting which can be configured on the phone itself as it is part of the network services by your provider. To adjust the Ring Count, we recommend contacting the Service Provider for assistance with this issue.
