Is this a tri-band phone?

I wanted to sign up with a Cricket Wireless plan, and I need a tri-band phone for the area that I live in. Can this phone do that? It says it needs the PCS-850/1900 MHz frequencies and the AWS-1700 frequency.

Question

my phone does not have an option for exchange email

I called Verizon and the service guy told me my phone needed to be flashed to the newest firmware.

went to the Verizon store and they said that i had the latest firmware and there was nothing they could do.

s/w V.u460.ef08

mobile email version 3.1.4.2

Tried uninstalling mobile email and reinstalling it and still was not able to get exchange email

plug your phone USB into the computer and drag down to expand the top bar then it will ask you if you want to "mount" your phone to the computer. choose the mount, then you go to your computer,and it should look like an external USB device,go to computer/removable/disk/dcim/camera to see the photos you wan to move

Question

Why is my phone using up battery life so fast?

My phone is about 4 month old and I have the problem of the phone using all the battery charge within a day. It acts like something is running in the background, but I can't figure out what. The software was updated Feb 13, 2011 and that worked for about a week, and the next charge I am back to the same problem.

try making the battery fully discharge until the phone screen get dead and charge it again, when mine was new i have the same problem and i did this about 2 times until the battery adjust to my usage, remember to close all applications that are running in the back ground

You may try performing a soft reset on the phone as a basic troubleshooting step to fix it, by taking out the battery for at least 15-30 seconds, then put the battery back in again and turn it back on to refresh the software.

I have just gotten a Samsung SGH-U460, Intensity II cell phone. A 4-digit voicemail password is required to access to the voicemail messages. Question

Screen NEVER powering off, and quick-reply box instantly appearing when reading a new message

I have had this phone for almost two years now, and recently many problems arose with my phone (the phone enters USB mode immediately after powering on, when pressing one key, the phone registers the input of keys around it (I was really only pressing one key), and the phone randomly turns off.) All of these problems were easily solved with multiple soft resets over the course of an hour. These issues, after they were solved, gave way to two very persistent issues. My screen never powers down or auto-locks now, and the quick-reply mode that is available instantly appears when opening a new text message. I have checked my settings, and found nothing amiss. I have also performed many soft, and hard resets. I am out of options that I can formulate on my own, is there any way to fix these issues? Thank you!

Question

Uconnect bluetooth system drops incoming calls

My 2012 jeep grand cherokee is equipped with uconnect. All outgoing calls complete fine. Incoming calls are dropped when answered. The calling party hears me answer hello, then call drops. All software and Hardware for both bluetooth and phone are current. one out of ten calls may stay connected. HELP!

Please soft reset both bluetooth devices first meaning turning the phone off then remove the battery from it for about a minute then put it back in and turn on again. Then turn on both devices bluetooth connection.

To Turn on Bluetooth :

Press the Home Key
Press the Menu Key
Tap on Settings
Tap on Wireless and Network
Tap on Bluetooth settings
Tap on Bluetooth to turn on the radio

Note: The Bluetooth radio, when turned on, will display as the icon is seen in the status bar. To disable the Bluetooth radio, tap Bluetooth once more.

To change Bluetooth visibility options :

Press the Home Key
Press the Menu Key
Tap on Settings
Tap on Wireless and Network
Tap on Bluetooth settings

Note: The Bluetooth radio must be turned on in order to scan for nearby device. If the icon is seen in the status bar, skip step 6.

Tap on Bluetooth to turn on the radio
Tap on Discoverable

Note: To help increase security, the phone will have a 120 second time limit on discovery. If you are unable to establish connection within the time frame, simply tap Discoverable again to turn it on.

If pairing is unsuccessful, please delete or remove the previous bluetooth devices that have been paired on both handsets then pair it once again.

In order to remove a paired Bluetooth device, follow the steps below:

1. Press the Home Key
2. Press the Menu Key
3. Tap on Settings
4. Tap on Wireless and Network
5. Tap on Bluetooth settings

Note: The Bluetooth radio must be turned on. If the icon is seen in the status bar, skip step 6.

6. Tap on Bluetooth to turn on the radio
7. Tap and hold on the desire device
8. Tap Disconnect and unpair

Note: The device should be disconnected and the pair broken on the device.

You want to make sure you are using a microSD memory card that holds a capacity of up to 16GB. Here: http://bit.ly/IEIuqT on pages 13-14 are outlined directions on how to install and format your memory card. You can store music, pictures and other files.
