Unfortunately, there is no support for the use of our standard phones with a Macintosh computer, nor does Samsung offer compatible software. The only handsets for which we provide limited support for connection to a Mac are the PalmOS handsets offered for use on the Sprint Network.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this presents.
However, it may be possible to use the mass storage feature of your device to connect to your Mac and drag and drop media files between your device and Mac computer, using Mac’s Finder tool.

Hi smcgough,

By default, the external keypad of the SCH-U460 (Intensity II) locks automatically when the backlight goes out, or you can lock it manually.

The Auto Lock setting controls whether the external keypad locks automatically when the backlight goes out.
1. From the Home screen, press the Center Select Key then choose MENU -> Settings & Tools -> Keyguard Setting -> Auto Lock.
2. Use the Directional Key to highlight a setting, then press the Center Select Key.
-On: Enables Keyguard. The keypad will lock when the backlight goes out.
-Off: Disables keyguard. The keypad never locks automatically.

Question

When I try to turn the ERI banner on, it will not come on? Is there a fix for this?

Samsung Intensity II model SCH-u460. My son has the same phone and it took the store 3 different phones before it found one that worked. I took mine back and they went through 3 different brand new phones and none of them worked. Verizon told me to contact Samsung.
