my new Intensity II phone has stopped sending/receiving pictures and sounds.

the phone was working fine earlier today. it is brand new so maybe I inadvertently did something that is blocking the data from getting through. all of the other phones on our plan are doing fine. the owners manual that came with the phone is useless and for some reason I am unable to view the online version.

Please make sure that your Multi- Media Messaging service is properly configured on your phone. Contact your service provider for assistance in activating the service and for sending a picture message.

where can I find the driver to interface phone and laptop.
When connected says i need driver from device manufacture, that is you.
where do I find, spent way to much time on your site looking, nothing.

Apparently, we do not have any available software or drivers for you to connect the Samsung Intensity™ II (SCH-u460) to your computer. Samsung does not offer a Data Kit software package, for the purpose of transferring data between the pSCH-U460 and a personal computer.

If you are going to transfer media files between your phone and a computer, it will require you to have microSD memory card inserted on the phone and compatible USB data cable. Once you have the requirements, please follow the procedures on the link below on how you can connect the phone to the computer.

If the microSD memory card came from another phone and you could not saved any files on it. Try to format the microSD memory card using your phone so that the phone will recognize the microSD memory card inserted in it.

Are you referring assigning image to a contact on the Samsung Intensity™ II (SCH-u460)?

To assign an image to a contact, please follow the steps below:
1. While in standby mode, press the right soft key for Contacts.
2. Highlight the contact entry, using the navigation keys.
3. Press the left soft key for Edit.
4. Highlight Picture, using the navigation keys.
5. Press the left soft key for Set.
6. Highlight desired image from My Pictures, using the navigation keys, or press the right soft key for Options, then select Take Picture and press OK to Take it.
7. Press OK to Insert the Picture for the Contact.
8. Press OK again to SAVE the Contact settings.

Press and hold the Lock key (Zero key) to manually lock the handset. To manually unlock the handset press the right soft key for Unlock then press OK.

Thank byou for your inquiry. You may Use the Volume Key to Zoom in or out, and rotate
between portrait and landscape mode while viewing a picture taken using your phone. However, there are no configurable options on your phone that could make the zoom activated while taking a picture.

Thank you for your inquiry.

The SCH-U460 (Intensity II) phone features different methods to transfer pictures from the handset to a computer. One of the methods include via memory card. To transfer pictures (via a memory card) to a computer requires a microSD Memory Card, Memory Card Adaptor & Memory Card Reader. The microSD memory card must first be formatted, by the handset, in order for the handset to create the destination folders. Please note that the minimum size limit for the microSD memory card is 32MB. This phone does support the use of a microSDHC 16GB capacity memory card.

To transfer pictures (via a memory card), from the SCH-U460 (Intensity II) handset, to a computer, follow the steps below.
1. Insert the formatted microSD memory card into the memory card slot.
2. From the standby screen, press Menu.
3. Press Settings & Tools.
4. Scroll down then press Memory (0).
5. Press Phone Memory (2).
6. Press My Pictures (2).
7. Press Right soft key for Options.
8. Select Move (2).
9. Press each desired Photo to check their box or choose Mark All.
10. Press Done.
11. Press Yes to Move the Photo(s) to the microSD memory card.
12. Remove the microSD memory card from the memory card slot.
13. Insert the microSD memory card into the memory card adaptor.
14. Insert the memory card adaptor into the memory card reader.
15. Insert the memory card reader into the USB slot on the computer.
16. Navigate to the Photo location, inside the my_pix (or my_flix) folder, using Windows Explorer.
17. Drag and drop or copy and paste the Photo or Video into the desired destination on the computer.

There are no configurable options on the settings of the Samsung Intensity II, to play or record videos on the handset. You may however try to use the Verizon Online Website, using the internet to allow you to play videos downloaded on the phone.

You can use a USB cable to transfer pictures from the phone to the computer, using the Mass Storage option. Please follow the steps below.

1. Insert a formatted memory card into the memory card slot.
2. From the standby screen, press the OK key for Menu.
3. Select Settings & Tools (9).
4. Select Tools (3).
5. Connect the USB cable to both the phone's Power/Accessory Interface connector & the computer's USB slot.
*When successfully connected, the phone will show Connected to the PC... and Call Disabled on the display.
6. Select USB Mass Storage (8).
7. If prompted, click "Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" on the new Removable Disk screen or open Windows Explorer manually.
8. Navigate to the location of the files on the computer and on the phone.
9. Drag and Drop or copy & paste the picture file(s) from the phone to the computer.

The “MAXIMUM ENTRIES ALREADY STORED “message means that you already exceeded the allotted calendar you created in a day on your phone.

Upon checking the specifications and settings on the Samsung Intensity™ II (SCH-u460), when creating a calendar event, you can create maximum 9 entries per day, with maximum of 100 title characters combined and maximum of 100 details characters combined.

To Make a Conference Call or 3 way calling, between yourself and two other callers, on the handset follow the steps below:

While in standby mode, dial the number for the first party, then press SEND
When connected, ask them to remain on the line.
Press the SEND key to place them on hold.
Dial the second party’s phone number and press SEND.
When the second party answers, press SEND to connect all three parties.

Note: As the originator of the conference call, should you disconnect, the other two parties will also be disconnected. If one of the individuals should disconnect, you will still be connected to the other.
Note: For handsets which support more than 3 individuals on one call, repeat steps 1 through 5 until all parties are connected.
