Hi sbspence!

Thank you for your correspondence.

Regarding your concern, if the phone is lock and it asks for a pass code, what we can offer for the phone would be the default password which could be either "0000", "00000000" or the last four digit of your mobile phone number.

If the default codes will not work, we recommend contacting the manufacturer of your car for the specifications and settings or the car kit installed in your car.

Again, we thank you for comments and appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

Question

Why does it say "Memory Low" when I go to my message inbox?

I had approximately 500 text messages in my inbox, at which point I began to receive the "Memory Low. Delete some text messages to receive new ones." However, I checked my phone memory usage (under phone info) and it says I still have 91 MG of space available, having only used14 MB of the 105 MB in total. Why is it forcing me to delete texts if I still have plenty of space left.. The memory is not, in fact, low.

Hi cljay6!

Thank you for your inquiry.

Apparently, Samsung does not offer a Data Kita for purpose of transferring information between the Samsung Intensity™ II (SCH-u460) and a computer.

If you are going to transfer media files from your SCH-U460 handset to the computer, you may do mass storage so you could transfer them to the computer. For you to connect the phone to the computer, it would require you to have the memory card inside the phone and a compatible USB data cable, once you already have the requirements, and then do the following:

If the microSD memory card came from another phone and you could not saved any files on it. Try to format the microSD memory card using your phone so that the phone will recognize the microSD memory card inserted in it.

To format the memory card:
1. Insert the microSD memory card to the memory card slot, and then turn on the phone.
2. From the standby screen, press OK for Menu.
3. Highlight Settings & Tools.
4. Select Memory.
5. Select Card Memory.
6. Select Format Card.
7. Highlight Yes, using the navigation keys.
8. Press OK to confirm formatting the microSD memory card.

To transfer media files between the phone and the computer:
1. Insert a formatted memory card into the memory card slot.
2. From the standby screen, press the OK key for Menu.
3. Select Settings & Tools.
4. Select Tools.
5. Connect the USB cable to both the phone's Power/Accessory Interface connector & the PC's USB slot. When successfully connected, the phone will show Connected to the PC... and Call Disabled on the display.
6. Select USB Mass Storage.
7. If prompted, click "Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" on the new Removable Disk screen or open Windows Explorer manually.
8. Navigate to the location of the media files on the PC.
9. Drag n Drop or copy & paste the media file(s) into the phone's designated folder.

Note: Make sure the Bluetooth is disabled and the phone is in idle mode.

If the notification does not show up on the phone or on the computer, try to turn off you phone or connect the USB cable to another USB port on your computer.

Should you desire additional assistance resolving this, we invite you to call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

Again, we thank you for comments and appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

We appreciate your continued interest in Samsung products.

Hi fishmom3!

Thank you for your inquiry.

Regarding your concern, upon checking the specifications and settings on the Samsung Intensity™ II (SCH-u460), the camera zoom is disabled in the 1280 x 960 Resolution. There is no configurable option to zoom the view when taking pictures using the camera.

Again, we thank you for comments and appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.
