Hi wiesek,

Thank you for your correspondence.

Please check if the memory card you have is compatible with the SCH-U460 (Intensity II) phone. The minimum size limit for the microSD memory card is 32MB. This phone does support the use of a microSDHC 16GB capacity memory card. Also, you may format the memory card on the phone so that it will be recognized by the phone. To format the memory card, follow the steps below.

Warning: Formatting a memory card will permanently delete all current content.

1. Pull the memory card cover out and turn it to expose the card slot.
2. Push the memory card into the slot until it locks into place.
Caution: Do not force the card into the memory card slot, as this could damage the card and/or the handset.
3. From the standby screen, press OK for Menu.
4. Highlight Settings & Tools (9).
5. Select Memory (0).
6. Select Card Memory (3).
7. Select Format Card (8).
8. Highlight Yes, using the navigation keys.
9. Press OK to confirm formatting the microSD memory card.

After formatting the memory card, download the ringtones again to the card and see if the files will be recognized on the phone.

To playback a MP3 ringtone, follow the steps below.
1. While in standby mode, press OK for Menu.
2. Select Media Center (5).
3. Select Music & Tones (2).
4. Select My Ringtones (3).
5. Highlight the desired MP3 ringtone, using the navigation keys.
6. Press OK to Play the MP3 ringtone.

Question

Micro SDHC Card Capacity for Intensity II

Can any size of card up to 32 GB be used in the Intensity II? Your overview of the phone states this, and the accessories you show for this particular phone include 2, 4, and 8 GB cards, but I saw online in multiple Samsung forums dealing with this phone where your people state that this phone is only compatible with a 32 GB card and not a 16 GB. Will a 16 GB card work?
