Question

Is there a way to transfer pictures on my Gusto to my Windows XP laptop via the USB cable connection?

My laptop doesn't recognize the New Hardware when I connect my Gusto via USB. Is there a driver I can get that will fix this so I can transfer pictures?

Try following the steps below:

After hooking up your phone to the computer, you will see the USB symbol in the "unnunciator line" (at the top of your display). pull this down by touching and sliding it down. select "USB connected", another window appears, select "Mount". you should now be able to view, move, access files on your phone and pc.

What are the instructions for sending myself e-mail pictures?

Following the instructions (as I understand them), I'm having trouble sending photos to myself. How do I address the E-mail? Everytime I try. The first charcter types in uppercase. I can't type the first letter of my address, j, in lower case. Thus the pictures are not being recieved.

To send a picture to an e-mail address follow the steps below:

While in standby mode, press OK for Menu
Select Media Center (1)
Select Pictures (2)
Select My Pictures (2)
Highlight the desired photo to be sent, using the navigation keys
Press the right soft key for Options
Select Send (1)
Select Picture Msg (1)
Manually enter the email address(es), using the keypad
Press OK when all recipients have been entered
Highlight Text:, using the navigation keys
Enter the Message Text, using the keypad (up to 1,000 characters)
Highlight Sound, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Sounds
Select either Record New (1) or highlight desired sound, using the navigation keys
Press OK to add the Sound
Highlight Subject, using the navigation keys
Enter the Subject Text, using the keypad (up to 80 characters)
Highlight Name Card:, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Add
Select either of the following name card options:
My Name Card (1), to add the previously saved name card
Contacts (2), to add a contact as the name card
Press OK to add the selected name card to the picture message
Press OK to Send the Picture Message to the recipient(s)
Tip: You can send a Picture Message to up to ten recipients

Note: Picture Messages are only available within the Verizon Wireless Enhanced Services Area

Please Note: The handset includes support for Digital Rights Management (DRM) which allows you to view or play some purchased or subscription content. Copyright protections may prevent some images, music (including ringtones) and other content from being copied, modified, transferred or forwarded.

To type letters in lower case, please try the following steps.....

While entering text, press the Left Soft Key (-) Entry Mode, then use the Directional Key OK to highlight a mode and press OK to select the mode.

Note: Available text entry modes will depend on the type of field. When you are entering text, the Right Soft Key shows the current text entry mode.

• Entry Mode: Choose a default text entry mode, from T9Word, Palabra, Abc, ABC, or 123.

when will the alarm function be fixed?

Alarm never goes off if set on the hour, sometimes fails on the half hour, fails within two minutes of the hour intermittently. I returned the first phone, the second does the same thing.

Question

How can I delete a calendar event w/out?

MY dilemma:
I have this phone that has a CALENDAR that:
(1) Deletes every Event when You choose to ONLY Delete the Event Selected, but if you go to the Day and scroll down to each even, then you can delete just the event selected, but if you go into that Event and choose Option 2 to erase ALL Events on the Calendar Erase.
(2) I'm now facing the 2nd time this has happen on this phone (after the Hard Drive Re-Booting system has occured), that is. I set a reminder on my calendar on Monday 7/18/11 and I deleted after the event was over, and NOW... even though it is NO Where To Be Found on My Calendar it Rings/Alarms every Hour on the Hour of 07 after the hour. So b/c I use my phone as my main alarm clock, I can't any longer. b/c it will ring/Alarm at 12:07AM, 1:07AM, 2:07AM, 3:07AM, 4:07AM, 5:07AM, 6:07AM... the rest of the day is just an annoyance and a reminder that I've been given a Lemon and unless I want to pay out of my pocket, I'm stuck with this one. At least that is what my Verizon Dealer has said.

I simply want a phone that rings when a call/text comes in. Alarms when I set an alarm or a calendar event, and I'm able to set up my week, month, year ahead of time and know that I don't miss an event in Oct 2011 bc I deleted an event that had nothing to do with the Oct event back in July 2011.

Good Day!

You can find the serial number at the back of the phone, take the back cover out of the phone, its on top of the barcode.
It usually start with A then follows by 5 zero`s.

Thank you for your inquiry.

The SCH-U360 handset does not have the capability to connect to the computer and transfer pictures.

However, you can send pictures to an e-mail address on the phone. For you to transfer pictures from phone to an e-mail address, please follow the procedures on the link below:
