pair the phone and pc via bluetooth - if PC doesn't have bluetooth you can get USB bluetooth adapter - go to bluetooth menu on phone; click on device you are paired with; item 4 "Send picture" - select pics you want to send to PC - then select "DONE" - and watch your pics transferred - much easier than other options

Hi jacki!
Thank you for your inquiry.
You can set the ringer for incoming call by going through the Sound Profile Settings. Handset sounds, such as audible message alerts and ringtones are all profile dependent. Profiles contain all the information associated with the volume settings and levels of the handset. This includes ringers, alarms, notifications, and system sounds.
The profile message alert type & tone allows you to choose the alert type that sounds when receiving a new text messages and voice calls. There are four different profiles that are preloaded and all have the ability to be edited.
Kindly check the link below for the steps on how to edit the sound profiles. http://ars.samsung.com/customer/usa/jsp/faqs/faqs_view_us.jsp?SITE_ID=22&PG_ID=2&PROD_SUB_ID=557&PROD_ID=1516&AT_ID=232264
We appreciate your continued interest in Samsung products.
Please make sure that your phone is not on Silent mode so that you will be able to hear the the ring for incoming calls.
You can also change the settings for Master Volume. Here are the steps:

Hi JMS822!
Thank you for your inquiry. I highly suggest to have the USB cable for the phone itself. By using another's data cable or USB cable may result of internal damage on the phone's hardware system. And I encourage you to have Samsung genuine accessories for you to make sure of the compatibility of it for your Samsung phone. We do not support the use of 3rd party applications/services/accessories with any of our devices. For this reason, we do not have information compiled on possible resources. If you are having issues with the use of a specific 3rd party application/service/accessory, we recommend contacting the manufacturer of that application/service/accessory for compatibility and support assistance.
Thank you for your continued interest in Samsung products.
Yeah, I've even used micro USB cables from other phone brands entirely.

Email the photos to yourself... or their is a USB download you can get from the Samsung support website that you could download to transfer photos from the phone (with the right peripherals) to your computer. Good luck!

Unfortunately, there isn't a configurable option that will allow to lock the camera application on the Gusto.
Alternately, you can lock the keypad. Please cut and paste the link below into your web browser. There you will find a tutorial that will guide you through the process.

Are you referring to the camera icon? I am not sure how you would take a picture using the physical buttons on the phone, the fascinate only has a volume control button and a power button, so I will assume you are just referring to the icon. If you are experiencing trouble with the icon, just remove it from your home keys. You do this by clicking on the "applications" icon. Once you are looking at the applications, click the settings wheel in the top left corner. You will now be able to select an application to replace the camera icon. Don't pick Pandora or music player, though. If you though taking pocket pictures was annoying, try being in a class or meeting playing pocket radio. Hopefully this helps.
If you have a Bluetooth adapter on your PC then yes you can.
Save the contact(s) as .vcf files and then send those to the phone via your Bluetooth software. You can also send contacts/calendar data from the phone, via Bluetooth, to your PC.
I've backed up all the contacts in my phone to VCF files (which are plain text--edit with Windows Notepad) and edit them on the PC and send them back to the phone. That's easier than editing in the phone.
BTW you can send (but not receive) JPG images to the phone the same way. I created a custom Wallpaper and sent it to the phone. Use you favorite image editor and make 128x160 pixel images.

The Alarm Clock does not always work. What could I be doing wrong?
I have set the Alarm clock in many instances and sometime it works and sometimes it does not. I have set up many tests and Once, Daily, and Mon-Fri. and have pinpointed down to a common setting. The Alarm Clock only works with minutes. It will not work at the top of the hour..example 05:00am or 11:00am. It will work with 05:15am or 11:10am. I have reported to VZ but thought to look here after the last few tests I have performed. I like my new phone but would like the alarm clock to work.

Can the external buttons on my SCH-U360 phone be disabled?
My wife has bad arthritis in her hands. When she grasps her cell phone, she accidently pushes the buttons causing the speaker phone or camera to turn on, or the volume to change. If they can't be disabled, is there a guard available? As a last resort, could I glue them in position to prevent accidental pressing? Thank you, Jim
