If yes, there are no configurable options available to transfer pictures or videos directly to a computer however, you can send a picture via e-mail or to the Verizon Online Album. Configuring the number of rings before a call goes to voicemail is something which is configured by the Service Provider by editing your account with them. This is not a setting which can be configured on the phone itself as it is part of the network services by your provider.

To adjust the Ring Count, we recommend contacting the Service Provider for assistance with this issue.

Hi,

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. There is no option to synchronize the phone to your calendar etc. for the phone is one of the Samsung's basic phones only. However, you check with your service provider which is Verizon if they have software to install to your computer to synchronize your files. You can call up their Customer Care Support toll free number at 1-800-922-0204.

Good Day!

You can find the serial number at the back of the phone, take the back cover out of the phone, its on top of the barcode.
It usually start with A then follows by 5 zero`s.

The SCH-U360 handset does not have the capability to connect to the computer and transfer pictures.

However, you can send pictures to an e-mail address on the phone. For you to transfer pictures from phone to an e-mail address, please follow the procedures on the link below:

I can't figure out what the icon on my screen means or how to make it go away...

It looks like a keypad with an arrow point toward it. I am not sure what it is, when it showed up, or how to get rid of it. It is right above the MENU icon in the red tool bar looking thingy.

To pair the Samsung Gusto handset with a Bluetooth Device please follow the steps below:

1. Place your Bluetooth device in discoverable mode.
2. While in standby mode, press OK for Menu.
3. Select Settings & Tools (9)
4. Select Bluetooth Menu (4)
5. Press the left soft key for Turn On.
6. Highlight Add New Device (1), using the navigation keys.
7. Press OK to begin search for new device
8. Press OK at the “Place device to connect to in discoverable mode” prompt.
9. Highlight the discovered Bluetooth device, using the navigation keys, and press OK to Pair the devices.
10. Press OK, you will get a brief message stating pairing with the Bluetooth Device Name.
11. Select Yes, using the navigation keys, at the “Connect to (Bluetooth Device Name)?” prompt.
13. You will get a brief message stating connecting with the Bluetooth Device
14. After being successfully connected you will return to the "Bluetooth Menu" screen.
Note: When successfully paired, the Bluetooth connected iconwill appear on the top line of the LCD

How to create picture ID on incomming calls

I have pictures on my phone of the people I talk with most frequently . I have set them to each corresponding person in my contact list. When I call that person, his/her picture shows on my phone. However, when they call me, I do not get their picture ID. How can I set that up? I had it on my old phone (different brand) and it was nice to be able to identify the caller by seeing who's little face popped up on my incomming call screen. Thanks!

Although there are no configurable options available to transfer pictures from Samssung Gusto phone directly to a PC, you can send a picture via e-mail or to the Verizon Online Album.

Via E-Mail

To send a picture to an e-mail address follow the steps below:

1. While in standby mode, press OK for Menu.
2. Select Media Center (1)
3. Select Pictures (2)
4. Select My Pictures (2)
5. Highlight the desired photo to be sent, using the navigation keys.
6. Press the right soft key for Options.
7. Select Send (1)
8. Select Picture Msg (1)
9. Manually enter the email address(es), using the keypad.
10. Press OK when all recipients have been entered.
11. Highlight Text:, using the navigation keys.
12. Enter the Message Text, using the keypad (up to 1,000 characters)
13. Highlight Sound, using the navigation keys .
14. Press the left soft key for Sounds.
15. Select either Record New (1) or highlight desired sound, using the navigation keys.
16. Press OK to add the Sound.
17. Highlight Subject, using the navigation keys.
18. Enter the Subject Text, using the keypad (up to 80 characters)
19. Highlight Name Card:, using the navigation keys.
20. Press the left soft key for Add.
21. Select either of the following name card options:
>My Name Card (1), to add the previously saved name card
>Contacts (2), to add a contact as the name card
23. Press OK to add the selected name card to the picture message.
24. Press OK to Send the Picture Message to the recipient(s).
Tip: You can send a Picture Message to up to ten recipients.

my texting feature isn't working

When I try to send a text message, the phone exits the function and goes to the opening screen (white screen with verizon on it). I don't know if I turned off the text function accidentally or if the phone is malfunctioning. Any suggestions?

Are you using the same original battery and charger on the phone? Is there any physical damage? Has the phone been exposed to liquid?
