I am trying to download my pics to a computer

I have downloaded the driver and my computer does not recognize the driver and does nothing. Is there another way? Am I doing something wrong? Please help. THX!

Thank you for your inquiry. Although there are no configurable options available to transfer pictures or videos directly to a PC, you can send a picture via e-mail or to the Verizon Online Album. Please go to the webpage below for the instructions on how to send picture through multimedia.

Note: Before sending pictures using multimedia options you need to make sure that your multimedia settings is already configured.

Hello there.

Although there are no configurable options available to transfer pictures or videos directly to a PC, you can send a picture via e-mail or to the Verizon Online Album.

To send a picture to an e-mail address follow the steps below:

-While in standby mode, press OK for Menu
-Select Media Center
-Select Pictures
-Select My Pictures
-Highlight the desired photo to be sent, using the navigation keys
-Press the right soft key for Options
-Select Send
-Select Picture Msg
-Manually enter the email address(es), using the keypad
-Press OK when all recipients have been entered
-Highlight Text:, using the navigation keys
-Enter the Message Text, using the keypad (up to 1,000 characters)
-Highlight Sound, using the navigation keys
-Press the left soft key for Sounds
-Select either Record New or highlight desired sound, using the navigation keys
-Press OK to add the Sound
-Highlight Subject, using the navigation keys
-Enter the Subject Text, using the keypad (up to 80 characters)
-Highlight Name Card:, using the navigation keys
-Press the left soft key for Add
-Select either of the following name card options:
-My Name Card, to add the previously saved name card
-Contacts, to add a contact as the name card
-Press OK to add the selected name card to the picture message
-Press OK to Send the Picture Message to the recipient(s)

Tip: You can send a Picture Message to up to ten recipients

In Addition, pictures can be sent from the handset directly to your Verizon Online Album. Please contact your service provider concerning all Verizon Online Album issues.

Are you referring pairing the SCH-U360 handset to a laptop to transfer files?

The SCH-U360 does support sending files such as images, pictures, virtual business cards, or appointment details via Bluetooth. However, the phone does not have the capability to send files.

How to connect to computer via usb

would like to add wallpaper pictures from my pc and to download phone camera photos to my pc via the usb connection. Is this possible? How to obtain MY preferred wallpaper pictures? Nothing in the manual regarding this.

Question

my texting feature isn't working

When I try to send a text message, the phone exits the function and goes to the opening screen (white screen with verizon on it). I don't know if I turned off the text function accidentally or if the phone is malfunctioning. Any suggestions?

Are you using the same original battery and charger on the phone? Is there any physical damage? Has the phone been exposed to liquid?

Try to do a soft reset on the phone by powering it off and removing the battery then placing it back again to reboot the handset.

Question

Can the external buttons on my SCH-U360 phone be disabled?

My wife has bad arthritis in her hands. When she grasps her cell phone, she accidently pushes the buttons causing the speaker phone or camera to turn on, or the volume to change. If they can't be disabled, is there a guard available? As a last resort, could I glue them in position to prevent accidental pressing? Thank you, Jim

The only function I know of to disable the external buttons is when the phone is closed. That can happen after a configurable delay or immediately. The delay can be disabled (that's what I use).

How can I connect this to my PC to transfer files?

I wouild like to move ringtones, pictures and contacts between my Gusto cellphone and my PC. How do I get the USB cable connection to be recognized by the computer and what software do I need to install in order to move the files? Where do I find appropriate drivers and programs?

Question

when will the alarm function be fixed?

Alarm never goes off if set on the hour, sometimes fails on the half hour, fails within two minutes of the hour intermittently. I returned the first phone, the second does the same thing.

Soft Reset: Turn of the phone. Remove and put back the battery after a couple of minutes (2-3).

Does this phone have voice dial capability for my contact list?

For each contact, is it possible to record the person's name with my voice; then use voice recognition to call the contact? I can find nothing in the manual about this, although the salesman said all phones have this capability.

Hi there!

Thank you for your inquiry. The phone has a Voice Dial feature which can be access using Voice Command. To initiate a Voice Command session on the SCH-U360 handset, no voice records needed to be use for a specific contact.

1. From the standby screen, press and Hold the “0” key, until the following “Please say a Command” menu appears:
-Call (Name or #)
-Send (Msg Type)
-Go To (Menu)
-Check (Item)
-Contacts (Name)
-Redial
-Driving Mode On
-My Verizon
-Help

2. Speak one of the Voice Command options above to initiate a session.

3. When it recognizes one of these commands, the SCH-U360 (Gusto) handset launches the associated application. If the phone does not hear a command within approximately eight seconds, it deactivates voice recognition without taking any action.

Note: If a name has only a single number, or if you know the name but are not sure which number to call, say “Call” followed by the name only. For example, say “Call John.” If the name is recognized and there is only one number for the name, Voice Command immediately places the call after confirmation. If there are multiple numbers stored for the contact, the handset prompts you with “Which Location?” and displays a list of options. Select an option by speaking it into the handset's microphone.

Although there are no configurable options available to transfer pictures from Samsung Gusto phone directly to a PC, you can send a picture via e-mail or to the Verizon Online Album.

Via E-Mail

To send a picture to an e-mail address follow the steps below:

1. While in standby mode, press OK for Menu.
2. Select Media Center (1)
3. Select Pictures (2)
4. Select My Pictures (2)
5. Highlight the desired photo to be sent, using the navigation keys.
6. Press the right soft key for Options.
