Hi there! Thank you for your inquiry. You can send or transfer pictures or videos from your phone to a computer via MMS messaging. To send pictures and videos via an MMS message follow the steps below:

1. From standby, press the Menu/OK key.
2. Select Photos
3. Select My Albums
4. Highlight In Phone and press the Menu/OK key.
5. Select a picture and press the Menu/OK key to populate the check box.
6. Press the right soft key for Options.
7. Select Send
8. Select via Picture Mail
9. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete transfer.

Please Note: The SPH-M330 handset includes support for Digital Rights Management (DRM) which allows you to play or view some purchased or subscription content. These copyright protections may prevent some images, videos, music (including ringtones) and other content from being played, copied, modified, transferred or forwarded to other devices.

how do i transfer pictures from my samsung schu360 to my computer

i plugged my phone into my computer to get the pictures from my phone to my computer and all i got was a launch assistant program for downloading upgrades for the phone. Help!!!!!!

Hi Curt99,

Regarding your concern, Samsung does not offer a Data Kit software package, for the purpose of transferring data between the Samsung Gusto™ Cell Phone (SCH-U360) and a personal computer.

For you to connect the SCH-U360 handset to your computer, it requires you to have the memory card inside the phone and a USB data cable, once you have these requirements, follow the procedures on the link below:

If the microSD memory card came from another phone and you could not saved any files on it. Try to format the microSD memory card using your phone so that the phone will recognize the microSD memory card inserted in it.

Important: Please note that the minimum size limit for the microSD memory card is 32MB. This phone does support the use of a microSDHC 16GB capacity memory card.

Warning: Formatting a memory card will permanently delete all current content.

To format a microSD memory card using the SCH-U360 handset:
1. From the standby screen, press OK for Menu.
2. Highlight Settings & Tools.
3. Select Memory.
4. Select Card Memory.
5. Press the right soft key for Options.
6. Select Format Card.
7. Highlight Yes, using the navigation keys.
8. Press OK to confirm formatting the microSD memory card.

To transfer files, using the Mass Storage option, please follow the steps below:

1. Insert a formatted memory card into the memory card slot.
2. From the standby screen, press the OK key for Menu.
3. Select Settings & Tools.
4. Select Tools.
5. Connect the USB cable to both the phone's Power/Accessory Interface connector & the PC's USB slot.
6. Select USB Mass Storage.
7. When successfully connected, the phone will show Connected to the PC... and Call Disabled on the display.
8. If prompted, click "Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer" on the new Removable Disk screen or open Windows Explorer manually.
9. Navigate to the location of the files on the PC.
10. Drag n Drop or copy & paste the file(s) into the phone's My_Pix or My-Flix folder.

WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT USB CABLE DURING THE FILE TRANSFER.

1. Use the Directional Key 'OK' to highlight Icon Glossary
2. Then press 'OK' to view icons used on the phone, with
brief descriptions

Highlight the desired photo to be sent, using the navigation keys
Press the right soft key for Options
Select Send (1)
Select Picture Msg (1)
Manually enter the email address(es), using the keypad
Press OK when all recipients have been entered
Highlight Text:, using the navigation keys
Enter the Message Text, using the keypad (up to 1,000 characters)
Highlight Sound, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Sounds
Select either Record New (1) or highlight desired sound, using the navigation keys
Press OK to add the Sound
Highlight Subject, using the navigation keys
Enter the Subject Text, using the keypad (up to 80 characters)
Highlight Name Card:, using the navigation keys

Is there a way to transfer pictures on my Gusto to my Windows XP laptop via the USB cable connection?

Try following the steps below:

After hooking up your phone to the computer, you will see the USB symbol in the "unnunciator line" (at the top of your display). pull this down by touching and sliding it down. select "USB connected", another window appears, select "Mount". you should now be able to view, move, access files on your phone and pc.

Question

Why does our phone BOTH vibrate and ring? We can't seem to change this.

My wife and I both have Gusto phones. At first, she got both vibrate and ring at same time and couldn't change it. Now I have the same problem. Have been through whole hard copy manual- no help on this specific problem. Thank you for the help.

Select Sound Settings (6)
Select Call Sounds (2)
Select Call Ringtone (1)
Highlight the desired ringtone, using the navigation keys, or select Get New Ringtones* (1), to download New Ringtones from Verizon
Press the OK button to save the Call Ringtone setting
Select Call Vibrate (2)
Highlight either On or Off, using the navigation keys
Press the OK button to save the Call Vibrate setting

I don't believe there is a directional button on the phone. You just use your fingers to scroll through the ringtones like you would do for any other part of the phone.

Hello and thanks for reaching out! I suggest trying a soft reset:

1. Remove the battery
2. Wait 2 minutes
3. Replace battery
4. Reboot phone
