Samsung galaxy proclaim. When making a call how do you keep the back light on while talking?

If I call and use the keypad the light goes out right away, and I have to keep hitting the on/off button to try to end the call.

I had to do a factory reset and since I did that I have no mobile data. I can use the wifi but really need my mobile data back.

My phone battery discharges very fast. Why?

I don't get a very strong signal when I'm in my home. Could this cause my phone to continually search for a better signal, therefore using more of the battery power?

make sure bluetooth is off wifi too. yes if you dont have a good signal it draiuns battery really fast 3-4 times faster if not more.

digital digit readout?

I had a samsung sch 490 that had a really cool feature where when i hit a key to dial a number the phone would say the number i typed. it was great and i loved it. i now have a samsung proclaim and i miss this feature. is it available and i have not found it yet or am i out of luck with my new phone?

Firmware

I want to know if there will ever be an Android OS update for this phone. I desperately want to be able to use certain app widgets that allow scrolling, but they only work in version 3.0, which I obviously do not have.

When making or receiving calls on my Proclaim, the other party can not hear me unless I put my phone on speakerphone. Why is this?

I have the Samsung Galaxy Proclaim SCH-S720 from Straight talk. The phone is 2 months old and has been working fine. Then one day, it suddenly started with this problem. The party on the other end of the line can not hear anything from my side unless I put the phone on speakerphone. I can hear the other party fine on both modes.

How can i make my own notifications sounds?

I really don't like that I cant just take any recorded noise or any sound file I have and make it my text notification. If I would of known this I would of bought the phone. So is there anyway I can make my own text notification? I could do this on my old dum phone but cant on this smart phone. Pretty stupid.

Why can't I get KIES or Allshare to connect to my laptop

I have tried connecting with a usb cable (samsung approved), through wi-fi, wi-fi direct, and bluetooth. I cannot make a connection regardless of connection type.
