Please try to do a soft reset. Turn of the phone, remove and put the battery back after 1-2 minutes. Please make sure that the volume is in its maximum level. After that, please try playing a music and check if the same concern exist.

Battery power consumption depends on a number of factors, such as network configuration, signal strength, operating temperature, features selected, frequency of calls, and voice, data, and other application usage patterns.

Some variables that may affect battery life are:
· Backlight settings set to always on or a long amount of time
· Ring tone settings set to higher volume settings
· Vibrate settings turned on
· Using Internet Services including Text Messaging
· Making and/or Receiving calls in, or simply standing by in, an analog service area
· If you tend to be in a "weak" coverage area where your signal strength meter shows only 1 to 2 bars
· Using non-SAMSUNG charging accessories can cause battery life and other issues, as well as void the manufacturer’s limited warranty.

Please check the information listed below for the charging time for your phone.

Initial charging time: 6-8 hours
Regular Charging time: 2-4 hours

You may also drop by at your service provider's corporate store to try using a different battery or charger to check if it would work.

You may send your phone to us for a repair.

OUT OF WARRANTY REPAIR:

For information on what is and is not covered by The Standard Limited Warranty, we invite you to go to http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/warranty/ phone model code and view a full version of the warranty that covers all Samsung phones and accessories.

If the phone has experienced damage or is out of warranty by date (it was purchased more than one year ago) the standard charge will likely apply for the repairs to your phone. Charges start at $70.36 and can increase, depending upon the nature and severity of the issue. We are only able to arrange payment for these repairs through credit card (Visa, MasterCard or AMEX).

CONTACTING SAMSUNG CUSTOMER CARE TO ARRANGE FOR REPAIR:

For questions related to possible repairs we invite you to contact Samsung Customer Care at your earliest convenience through our toll free number 1-888-987-HELP (1-888-987-4357).

try taking out the battery for like 1-2 mins then turning the phone on while holding the home button it seemed to work for me i couldnt get it tryin the menu button but i just had the same problem like an hour ago and couldnt find out how to get it to work online

Hi,

Yes USB Debugging does work on this device. Goto Settings -> Applications -> Development and check box to turn it on.

Oh, and your phone can not be charging to change this setting. Be sure to unplug the USB wire first.

After making your video go to gallery app--->click the menu button on the phone (first button on the bottom four) on screen select share video--->choose youtube--->login with your credentials--->and upload. That's it

(Cricket) Samsung Galaxy Indulge Keyboard issues

Randomly when I hit the "E" key on the physical keyboard my email opens up, whether I'm at the home screen or in the middle of a text. It's REALLY frustrating when trying to text and while trying to type something like "Hello" my message is cut short and email opens. I have tried hitting shift/FN in combination with every key on my keyboard, nothing. I have to turn off my phone to get it to stop (for maybe a day or two). The touch screen "E" is fine. Once my "S" key opened up the internet until I reset as well.

First, make sure you've got a good signal. There are two ways to send a picture message.
Method A allows you to choose whether you're emailing, texting, otherwise sharing the photo.
Step 1:Go to the photo "Gallery" and select the thumbnail of the photo you want to send.
Step 2:Select "Menu" and then select "Share".
Step 3:Select "Messaging" and the messaging window will appear.
Step 4: The cursor will automatically appear in the "To:" field. Select and add your recipients.
Step 5: Enter whatever message you want to accompany your picture where is says "Type to compose" and select send.

Method B is more direct, but is only for texting.
Step 1: Open up the messaging application and select either "New Message" or if responding to a previous message, select the recipient's name from previous messages received.
Step 2: Press the Menu button to the far left at the bottom of the phone. A menu of options will appear.
Step 3: Select "Attach" and chose what you want to attach (Pictures, Videos, Audio, etc).In this case, assuming that you select Pictures, the Gallery will appear.
Step 4: Select the thumbnail of the photo you want to send. It will then show up in the messaging window with options to view, replace or remove.
Step 5:Type your message and send.

As for receiving, I can only assume that you're signal is too low to allow proper downloading. If you've got a full 3G or 4G signal, be sure to check your gallery to see if the photo you downloaded from the message is there.
