Question

what do I do to fix this wifi problem?

my galaxy admire connects to my home wifi but is not able to work when im connected. it lets me connect to other wifi i used but not my home wifi. my other devices connects and functions on my home wifi . what do i do here?

Try completely forgetting the network by going to settings>wifi>hard press on the network and select forget. Then try reconnecting.

Question

Why does my phone keep turning off on its own, randomly?

My phone has been working fine. Untilyesterday afternoon, Dec, 04 2012.
When it turned off while being on 71% of battery. It has been doing the same thing since then. Instead of locking it shuts off, and when it does turns on after about four minutes it turns off. No matter the battery level. Whats wrong with it?

Thank you for your inquiry. We understand your concern about the phone keeps on shutting off by itself and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

We cannot speculate why the phone is shutting off by itself due to the fact that this might lead to inaccurate information and confusion.

Please try to do a soft reset. Turn of the phone, remove and put the battery back after 1-2 minutes.

You may also drop by at your service provider's corporate store to try using a different battery to check if it would work.

Note: Using non-SAMSUNG charging accessories can cause battery life and other issues, as well as void the manufacturer’s limited warranty.

If any of this won't work, please perform a Factory reset on the phone to isolate this concern.

Please try cleaning the port and SD card. If that does not work, you may want to try the SD card in another device or computer to ensure that the card is still working properly.

You will just need to hold down the power button and soft reset it that way, you can also try removing the battery for a minute and replacing it this can help as well.

Question

My Phone Won't Make or end calls

so I got this phone Just a few months ago and when I got it, it started crashing and freezing. so I got the phone,took out the battery and put it back in. And now my phone started malfunctioning more and then it just stopped making calls. and when it does make a call, it does it like 4 minutes later and when i try to answer a call, it stops ringing and gets stuck. sometimes i have to reset the phone just to end a call!

Hi there zoruaboy. Thanks for reaching out about this issue.

I recommend backing up all of the personal data (photos, contacts, videos, music, etc.) on the device and performing a factory reset. This will reset the phone to original factory settings. Please follow the steps provided below to accomplish this.

*Remove SD card before resetting

1. From Home screen, select Menu
2. Select Settings
3. Select Privacy
4. Select Factory data reset
5. Select Reset phone
*Leave Format SD card unchecked*
6. If you have a pattern, PIN or Password screen lock you will need to unlock it at this step before you can proceed to the next.
7, Select Erase everything
