when will os 'ice cream' be released for schr760?

OS updates are much too slow to available market. You are releasing GS3 very soon with ice cream or Jelly bean, when I have just purchased 2 gs2 still stuck on gingerbread. Get with it guys. Europe and Russia is way ahead of us. And the release is badly needed as there are too many bugs in the older version.

Warranty? You do realize this is a Galaxy S2? The warranty is null and void already. I am pretty sure after warranty is up, Samsung should provide root access to a phone I own and paid for.

straighttalk actually has it now..but its off their site right now for some reason..or you can get any s4 from either t-mobile or att and use straighttalk on that phone.

Yes. I updated to Jellybean on my S2 and it's great. You have to do it manually though.

Question

Phone does not ring, ringtone is set, phone icon with wavy lines next to 3G icon

My phone does not ring. I have a ringtone selected. Pressing the volume adjust says that my ringer is at full volume. On the icon bar, to the left of the 3G icon is a phone with wavy lines on either side. On the Galaxy S1 that icon means you are in silent mode. Again pressing volume adjust tells me I am at full ringer volume. Cannot find anywhere in settings to get rid of "wavy line phone" icon

Unfortunately, there is no configurable option to clear the clipboard. However, the clipboard saves information to the RAM and is cleared and overwritten on its own as you add additional information to it.

Unfortunately, I do not see a configurable option to turn off the screen timeout, however you can adjust the delay before the screen automatically turns off.

From the home screen, tap settings>display>Screen Timeout.

Unfortunately I do not see a configurable option to prevent the screen from timing out. You can delay your screen timeout to 10 minutes max. Here's more info on pg. 135: http://bit.ly/IVDN0P

Question

Display turns on by itself & drains battery.

While in my belt case the phone wakes up and the display stays on and drains the battery. When it's in that mode the home screen displays but it acts as if it's in camera mode. When you press the sleep button it takes a screen shot. Really annoying.
