Hi gmeade01,

Thank you for your inquiry. We understand that you would like to know how to clear favorite list on the contacts on your SCH-R720.

You may remove all the contacts on your favorite list by following the steps provided below:

1. From Home screen, tap on Phone.
2. Go to the Favorites tab.
3. Touch Menu key.
4. Tap Remove from favorites.
5. Mark Select all by tapping on the box.
6. Tap Delete.

Hi goaway,

Thank you for your inquiry. We understand that you would like to know if you can upgrade your SCH-R720 to Android 3.0 Honeycomb and you would like to know of your phone does not really have a tethering-hotspot in call settings.

Currently, SCH-R720 is operating on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread (EH09). There are no available updates for it.

There are no configurable options for tethering-hotspot in call settings on your phone.

All Samsung products are manufactured to the specifications of the service provider for whom they are produced.

Thank you for your inquiry. We understand that your SCH-R720 cuts off and we do apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused you.

You may try performing a soft reset on the phone as a basic troubleshooting step to fix it, by taking out the battery for at least 15-30 seconds, then put the battery back in again and turn it back on to refresh the software.

Please make sure that your phone is fully charged.

Initial charging time: 6-8 hours
Regular Charging time:2-4 hours

You may also drop by at your service provider's corporate or local store to try using a different battery or charger to check if it would work.

If any of these won't work, youm try performing a factory data reset on your phone. This will delete all the information inside your phone to return to its factory defaults.

You may use the link provided below for the steps on how to perform a factory data reset on your phone.

How to fix situation that incoming phone calls go straight to voice mail if the messaging app is open?

Incoming calls go straight to voice mail if I'm using the messaging app at the time of the incoming call. Only indication call occurrred is the voice mail notification indicator (which occurs after a delayed period subsequent to closing the messaging app#, The call doesn't even show up in the call log.

This definitely is not a situation where a contact is set to go directly to voice mail. It doesn't seem to be a situation where cell service is interrupted. The link seems to be having the messaging app open #perhaps, more specifically, when in process of composing a message--but not sure about that detail#. If one gets interrupted and doesn't close the messaging app, it seems calls continue being diverted to voice mail until the app is closed,. .

How do I fix this?

If not fixable, what other functions of the phone #if any) will also divert incoming calls straight to voice mail? #For example, does this problem also occur while accessing the internet?)
