Turn off the phone.
While off, press the Up/Down Volume and Power buttons at the same time.
When the phone starts up, release the Power button, but still hold Volume button.
Hold until menu comes up.
There is an option to reset the phone.
Use the Up/Down Volume buttons to scroll up/down options.
To select an option, use the Menu button.

how manyb contacts can i have in my phone?

i have my contact list mixed with my facebook acct but now i cant add any more contacts....what can i do? the user manual doesnt cover much like how many pics i can have, how many videos....etc. contacts?

Try saving the contacts to your memory card. This should expand the amount of people you can put in your phone book. You can also try sync-ing the phone to your Yahoo or Facebook account will add those contracts to your phone listing. In short when you add a facebook or yahoo contact it is then copied over to your phone. Good Luck

Question

How do you reboot the samsung SCH R720 so everything goes back to the out of box state?

I believe I have a virus on my phone and I need to figure out how to get it off. It is eating up my memory even though my phone says I have 70mb of space when I try to download anything it says insufficient memory. Can you help?

Can I use a ADATA Hi-speed, micro SDHC, 16gb, Class 10 flash memory card with the Samsung SCH-R720 cell phone?

I need to add memory to my samsung phone (I bought it from metropcs and use their service). It came with a 2 gb memory card and this is not enough. I have the Admire SCH-R720 samsung phone. Please advise me if I can use any hi-speed, micro SDHC, 16gb, class 10 memory card OR the highest memory card it will accept, including the highest class. I am told it will accept a 32 gb card, but what about the class 10? Thank you.

Regarding your concern, there is no need to install any software on the computer for you to connect the handset with your PC. All you need to have is a memory card inside the handset and a data cable then set the phone to mass storage.

To connect the phone to the computer, please follow the steps below:
Pull out and up the memory card slot cover
Insert the formatted microSD card into the memory card slot
Connect the USB data cable to both the handset and the USB port on the PC
If Select USB Mode appears on the display press the clear key to return to the standby screen OR if the MTP Connect to the PC... appears on the display, press OK then with Yes highlighted press OK to disconnect from the PC
From the standby screen, press OK for Menu
Select Settings & Tools
Select Tools
Select USB Mass Storage
From the PC, double click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop
Double click on the newly created drive letter (which may appear as an icon or text, depending on your View settings)
Double click on the folder to view the contents
Copy and paste or drag n drop the files to/from the destination on the PC
From the handset, press OK for Disconnect
With Yes highlighted, press OK then remove the USB data cable from both the handset and PC

My phone cannot read Korean.

I can type in Korean while I text to someone, but then when I get replied, it does not show the letter; it shows like *****. I don't know how to fix it. Do I need to buy any app or something? Please, help me.

Are you referring to the PIN code of the SIM card inserted on the phone?
Please call your service provider regarding the issue of resetting the PIN code for your SIM card.
If this is in regards to the passcode to access the device, the default phone lock code of your phone is "0000" or "00000000". If the default phone lock code did not work then we can do a reset on the phone. If a factory reset is necessary, please call Samsung Customer Support by phone at our toll free number 1-888-987-4357, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Central Standard Time.

purchased new phone R720MG (Admire) intermittent internet connectivity

phone does not hold to my wifi signal for more than 5 minutes. The phone states that its connected to the internet by the E symbol on the top but in reality there is no internet connection. What is going on? My internet is fine and other devices work properly.
