The pictures don't show up (jpg) from the SD card. They are in a folder called 'Pictures'. However, the MP3's showed up when I wanted to select a ring tone. They were in a folder called 'Ringtones' on the same SD card. Don't understand why the phone sees an MP3 from the SD card but won't show a jpg file from the same card. Thank you.

Wallpaper lets you choose images to appear in the background of your mobile device's screen while in Standby mode.

In Standby mode, touch Menu> Settings > Display Settings > Wallpaper.
To browse the thumbnail images, slide your finger up or down on the touch screen.
Touch the desired picture, then touch Set.
Touch Lock Screen, Home screen 1, Home screen 2 or Home screen 3 to assign the wallpaper to a specific screen

Question

My computer won't pop up a new device window when I plug in my Samsung Character. How do I get it to appear and download my music onto the phone?

It has worked before. I was able to download music with no problem. Now whenever I plug my Samsung Character in to the computer it charges but a new device window doesn't open. I went to My Computer and there was no sign that i had plugged in a new device. All I am trying to do is download music. It has a memory card, and it has worked before. Please help me.

This code is a camera function failure on the phone.

Please try a soft reset.
1. Power off
2. Remove the battery and leave it out for at least 30 seconds
3. Insert battery back into device
4. Power back on and evaluate

Trying to transfer pictures in text message. Always says "sending" and never sends.

To transfer MP3 files to a Memory Card, follow the steps below:

Confirm that a microSD™ or microSDHC™ Memory Card is inserted in your mobile device.
Note: For information on inserting a memory care, click here.

In Standby mode, touch Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > PC Connection > USB Mass Storage.
Press the End Key to return to the home screen.
Connect the USB cable to both the mobile device and the PC. A new "Removable Disk" window should open on your computer screen.
Select the Open folder to view files option. A new Windows® Explorer window should open on your computer screen.
Open a second Windows Explorer window and navigate to the location of the MP3 files, then drag and drop them into the Media/Music folder.
On your mobile device, press Disconnect > Yes.
Now it is safe to unplug the USB cable from both the mobile device and PC.
